Anybody in the constructionish industry lol. I have a steel fabrication business in Vic.

So I thought I'd start a thread where SCS members could either network, or just discuss career stuff in general.

For construction yes, for me probably not. Unless he needs some super scaffold construction that you cant get off the shelf lol.

It is a career though so appropriate for this thread. Do you mind me asking what you do IDIG? Ceo of Don? lol

Anybody in vic work on union sites?
I own a cafe in North Melbourne, get a lot of construction dudes getting large coffees and a lot of union dudes through due to all the head offices about. They keep me afloat!

ZimZum - I run Business Development for a company that specialises in corrosion remediation of steel work, protective coatings and surface preparation. We work a number of industries including construction, mining, o***hore, power and water. We are currently doing a lot of wharf remediation work up North but I'm always looking for projects around Australia if you know of anything. We also do some fabrication works so I'll keep you in mind if we do some Vic works. Don't do much in Victoria tbh due to PCCP requirements which we are finalising now.

As for unions - don't get me started.

A quick question about Jay's business. If I have a migration enquiry (actually a workmate), what would be the best way to contact Jay? Through his migration website contact form?
