Massive blow to our premiership campaign in recent weeks. Judd retired we had midfield depth to cover but Watson gone and now Gibbs and Shiel gone will be mighty tough to have the same fire power in the midfield we expected to go with in a finals campaign.
We will push on and see if any youngsters can take this opportunity to shine at senior level. Nick Graham has a foot injury to get over so someone else will have to find a few gears.
Bryce Gibbs and Dylan Shiel added to our long term injury list.

With Jeremy McGovern now injured our key backline strength is no longer in place leading up to finals series.
We have room to nominate rookie listed Hugh Goddard to be eligible for senior selection in Yarrawonga team so we making the decision to do so and keep him as one of our emergencies as a key back in coming weeks. He did well enough in our reserves team on weekend to warrant being back up as the form of other reserve key backs of Trengrove and Clarke not inspiring confidence recently. Hopefully the Gov back for our first final.

First exit interviews been done.
Rookie listed Dan Robinson been let go to explore options via the draft as we part ways.
Yarrawonga create a vacancy on rookie list for upcoming draft and decided a draft pick for primary list was more important at this time than upgrading Robinson to primary list for free. We wish him well and will consider re-drafting him at later stages of the pre-season draft onto our primary list should he be the best option left in draft pool at that time.
