Gee whiz. I hope the upsets don't extend to tonight.

I've realised today my Footy Team and Sc Team are both garbage.

Couldn't decide between Sicily or Stewart for the Vc, went with Stewart in the end, good result.

Now with XON a late in, i was split between bringing in Merrett or Macrae for Oli, with XON in and most likely tagging Merrett, thinking of trading out Merrett for Macrae. Was a line-ball decision, really not sure what to do.

I wouldn’t trade Merrett back out for one potential tag score. Macrae’s role is pretty suboptimal (unless he gets forward status).

This news almost deserves a thread title update for everyone with the C on Merrett. I'm weary about Bont's ankle niggle last week, so I'm not 100% on him. He has a good scoring history against them though.

Depends on your confidence in your remaining options in regards to captaincy. There is still 3300 points to distribute in the match tonight and unless you expect the Bombers to losem then Merrett should still feature enough for a 110+. Is O’Neil an effective tagger (comparative to his counterparts) and has he significantly limited his direct opposition previously?

In regards to a trade in, did this match have any bearing in placing him above the alternative options? If it did significantly or was the sole reasoning, then I would consider a change.

Given how atrocious Day was today without a tag, can we really credit O’Neill with the tagging effort?

I’m a little annoyed as I would’ve brought Stewart in over Merrett for Jelly, but I’ll stick with it now as I don’t really want to grab Libba.

I wouldn’t trade Merrett back out for one potential tag score. Macrae’s role is pretty suboptimal (unless he gets forward status).

If i did swap Macrae for Merrett, it's not just for this round and the tag, i was line-ball between the two before trading out Oli. I think i'll just stick with Merrett though. Thanks for your input.
