Anyone feel strongly about Himmelberg’s positioning ?

Still think he plays defence but obviously not 100% sure. Insane value if he does.

Always felt he was a guy you monitor and pick up post bye if youve gained enough confidence but Cadman dropped and Haynes back in makes me even less confident the role sticks.

Just watch, hell be under 150K post bye even with 2 solid games makes no sense to get him now.
But as you posted earlier maximising your cash is important, especially for some coaches who might find the 20k is the difference between getting a premo upgrade during the byes and getting meh. And his D/M could be a help for some with it giving extra bench coverage later in the season. I think it will depends on the circumstances each coach finds themselves in.

I think Merrett was the most popular replacement so those who went that route can already call it a win. A bonus if they can get Oliver back.
I mean it was always going to be a short term win, but those who were holding (yes I held) were about saving the trade/s. The answer won't be known until Rd 23 if saving that trade (or 2) and losing say 2-300 points (Merrett vs some 60s) is balanced out at the back end (either by Oliver vs Merrett for those that don't trade him back in, or by running out of trades/having to put off another trade somewhere later.

As with all things supercoach you just weigh the risks, plan some contingencies and cross your fingers and hope it doesn't all go to pieces.

I'm so cooked this season - just can't take a trick or read the game this year. Traded in Neale and Lloyd for Day and Ziebell, couldn't resist Lloyd's consistency at the SCG this season and another that's going to burn me. I need a break away from SC, it's depressing
I feel the same and am ranked pretty well
Super frustrating.

There's been a lot of injuries (pure luck) or role changes (seemingly random with Lloyd) that are hard to avoid.

As annoying as Lloyd is (especically if went him over Sinclair, which I did) - it's the best week for a bad premium score, so I'm trying to be optimistic. Although would be surpising if Lloyd does fall out of my 18, seeing as Gulden is already below him :censored:
