Played: R Marshall, J Lloyd, E Gulden (dropped out), M Bontempelli, T English (VC), J Macrae, Z Butters, J Sicily, J Dunkley, L Neale (new recruit), R Laird (C), J Dawson, A Brayshaw, M Johnson, J Ziebell, H Sheezel, G Wardlaw, E Ford and S Coniglio
Yet to play: A Cincotta, Z Merrett and N Daicos

Excellent results in the first game such as Ford scoring 84 and Ziebell with a 107. Gulden’s score has now dropped with Lloyd’s 74 and Ford’s 84 set to drop if Z Merrett and N Daicos can hit both of those targets.
See ya Lloyd. 2168 with Daicos to come and 84 the new low that needs to be exceeded.

I think it depends on who you are and the "circumstances" around the move ...

- plenty of players that move don't get booed at all ..
Oh, of course. But it's fair to say that a player going to one of a teams more hated* enemies, and at a time when the fan base had been devastated for years and was confronting multiple fan favourites leaving, might actually have the fans riled up.

(also Essendon fans for the last 15 years have a lot of pent up anger and hostility. Other fans can say "we've been through a crop time", but unless you've lived it...)

Still, I wouldn't bother myself with it, but you can understand why some might get into it, and it's not anything other than old fashioned tribalism. (And obviously we have to be careful with "old fashioned tribalism" because sometimes that was obviously completely unacceptable.

*"Hated" is a strong word, but it's said in the spirit of an enemy who makes you who you are. As an Essendon supporter a strong Carlton would make a strong Essendon better.

All I will say is that I'm not a Booer under any circumstance ...

- simply just not in my blood ..
