Has anyone considered Nic Martin as a Fwd trade target this week? 3 good scores in a row, but quite patchy prior to that. Has anything changed which could indicate that he could continue to perform at a good level for the rest of the season ?
I was thinking the spike in his scoring might've been due to the last 3 teams he's played....just a theory.

Would it be rash to trade Oliver, Ziebell, Wardlaw and Ford to Keays, Yeo, Adams and Heppell?

(I know the answer....)

Not 100% sure yet. Ideal plan was English, Green, Ford to Oliver, Petracca, Dewar(loop) but $4,400 short.

English to Oliver locked in.
Need to trade one of Ford or Johnson to Dewar.
3rd trade is either not used, Sheezel out or Green out. The in will be either Petracca, Serong or Mitchell.

Team will be complete with Humphrey and Johnson/Ford as cover. Either 4 or 5 trades left depending on whether I use the 3rd trade this week. Will have anywhere from 18 to 20 this week including 15-16 premiums.
No Oliver…

English>Petracca
Ford>Dewar

Last trade can wait until the Pies game on Sunday. I’ve decided I rather Mitchell over Serong. The 3 options are:
Sheezel>Mitchell
Green>Mitchell
Hold

If I don’t trade I should have 19 players pending selection. 15 premiums plus Humphrey, Johnson, Sturt and Hewett. I’ll be able to see what my second lowest score is and whether it’s worth trading in Mitchell for.

Had no stress because I planned everything out probably 3 weeks ago, Clarry not getting up and all of a sudden second guessing what to do constantly.
Can’t imagine how stressed I would get if I was so high up in the rankings.

At the end of the day, just go with your gut. Opinions and suggestions are nice, and that’s part of what makes forums like these so good, but it’s your team and you’re the reason why you’re ranked so well.

Best of luck whichever way you choose to go, and I’m sure many of us from SCS will be cheering you on for the remainder of the season.

I wouldnt be ranked this high If I didnt take in outside advice before ultimately making my own decision, never been arrogant enough to just totally ignore outside views think thats to the detriment of your success really.

Tend to think Blicavs goes to Petracca, if he can reasonably curtail him waiting for Oliver makes more sense to me, but yeah really not sure how to play this.

Out: English, Ford
In: Laird, Anderson

Someone talk me out of this madness please. Completed team with 3 trades left would be:

EDIT: could turn Briggs into Darcy or Macrae/Rozee down the track if Briggs looks like slowing down (and his price is high enough)

I too am debating English out for a lot more extra $$ to spend elsewhere. But, i'm also debating taking a loss this week and trading out Marshall next week instead.

Lot of people don't trust Briggs to retain this form rest of season, but if you watch how much of an ox he is, he could easily be the best ruck in the league to close it out and English/Briggs is a mouth watering duo.

Only a poorly placed tackle leading to suspension is going to stop this man. And you're right, he'll be north of $500k start of Rd16, easy bail out if required.
