311 Robinson
Hukporti 45
Travers 41
Robinson C 40x2
Valentine 40
Dellavedova 37
J.Galloway 27 (53)
Sarr 23 (45)
Cummings 10 (19)
Henshall 6 (12)
K.Galloway 2 (4)

Terrible week. 2 highest scorers on the bench, all my trade ins turn into duds and one of them gets concussed, while most of the others I considered went well. Henshall once again not getting an opportunity and K.Galloway also not getting a crack either. Hopefully I can turn it around.
Went from 972nd to 2222nd. At least I dropped down to a good number , Richie Benaud would be happy. Considering going a POD approach this week with Wiley and I.Clark in.

Also, on the concussion protocols, can you play on the 12th day as Melbourne play Friday week? If I go for Clark I’ll have him for round 5 too and hoping Delly misses that one.

I'm not sure if the NBL has official concussion protocols... but I did find this...

"Dellavedova has a troubling history with concussions, including missing 47 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2020-2021 NBA season due to concussion symptoms and a neck injury."

"United’s medical team will treat him carefully, given his history and the club’s experience with starting guard Shea Ili, who missed several weeks of last season with ongoing concussion symptoms, while former guard Lachlan Barker also missed time with concussion."

United has a busy schedule in the weeks ahead, playing Illawarra in Wollongong on Friday and the New Zealand Breakers at home two days later, followed by another away-home double the next weekend.

If Dellavedova is put into the 12-day concussion protocol, he could miss as many as four games. But that will all depend on how long his symptoms linger, with United coach Dean Vickerman making it clear Dellavedova’s health would come first.

Lots of boosts being used. Feels like next week could be a better week for them. Also a long season so don’t want to run out too quickly
Yeah I can't fathom burning my 3rd boost in Rd4 and in three straight sets, that goes against everything we believe in 😂

Though if all of you are doing it, then that means a lot of the top 1% are considering it as well.. but there's Rd5 to think about with CNS and NZ.

I'm leaning on JRob/Henshall to PJC/Flowers. Both negative BE's, can't go wrong. Not set on it, and I hate having to bring Flowers back, I don't rate him atm. I'd much rather Creek/PJC somehow. Might go McVeigh/JRob to achieve that. We'll see.

I blew my second boost and went Cook/Baynes/Valentine to Doyle/JRob/McDaniel for corrections and I'm extremely pleased with myself for moving the C over to Doyle this morning.

A shame to see JRob have a mare, but some welcome luck for me after the Captain Cook disaster last week, I've got PTSD from it. View attachment 62656
373 Doyle, worked out well for me in my Captain Cook rehabilitation program lol. Rank 1,685 from 2,363 last week. Not expecting the same luck this round.

How's this for a laugh, I lost to a bloke who captained JGalloway by 2 points in my public league. 😂

Going to boost this week to get PJC, Browne and a Melbourne player

Option 1

Out: J Galloway, J Robinson, McDaniel
In: PJC, Browne, Goulding

Travers, Goulding (Sarr, K Galloway)
Hukporti (Olbrich)
Browne, McCarron (Doyle, PJC)

Leaves me only 11k ITB but the plan next week is to downgrade K Galloway and Sarr to Gak and Klintmann next week

Option 2
Out: K Galloway, M Doyle, McDaniel
In: PJC, Browne, Loe

Only real difference is Loe / Goulding vs J Galloway and K Galloway.

I’m leaning Option 2 as I think K Galloway has peaked despite the DGR. Seems to have lost minutes.
Loe has been getting in the region of 20 fantasy points most games and Illawarra are a nice matchup.

Early week trades:

Robinson, McDaniel & McVeigh to Wiley, Flowers & Creek.

First boost used, Flowers on bench only but will make cash just by turning up and needed the third trades cash for the other two trade ins.

Leaves me:

Creek, Wiley, J Galloway, Toohey

Hukporti, Sarr

Scott, Cunningham, Flowers, Te Rangi.

Scott should score more on his single than Te Rangi or Flowers shouldn't he?

4 of the top 5 point scorers this round were only available in the guard position. 8 of the top 10 overall point scorers heading into the round are also guard only.
The top 11 players for the season by average are all guards.

Last year it was the Forwards & Center's dominating the fantasy scoring... after the transition from Fantasy to SC it appears they have gone too far with the scoring changes by diminishing the value of rebounds.

removing the offensive board bonus has devalued bigs massively

The good side is when Robinson goes 1/15 and isn’t in the negatives

Valentine out and the possibility to use a third boost if I want to flick two of Robinson, McVeigh and McDaniel as well. Undecided on inclusions but the shortlist is likely to include Creek, Browne, Willey, Flowers and Jackson-Cartwright.
An option could be:
Out: Robinson, McDaniel and Valentine
In: Creek, Jackson-Cartwright and Armstrong

Creek and Olbrich could then be flipped in the following round for Klintman and Miller (via McVeigh).

The latest 3 week master plan is as follows:

Week 4

In: Creek, PJC, Illi
Out: J Galloway, J Robinson, McDaniel

Would leave team looking like

Travers, Creek (Sarr, K Galloway)
Hukporti (Olbrich)
Creek, Illi (Doyle, PJC)

5 DGR + K Galloway on bench. Feel this gives me the right amount of point chasing. Only iffy one is the McDaniel to Illi trade but McDaniel’s role is becoming marginalised and Illi should be one of the main beneficiaries with Clark with Melbourne playing it cautious with Delly. He exploded after Delly got ruled out last week, Went back through the game log and he got like 25-30 SuperCoach points in a half and 2 minutes after Delly got ruled out.

Week 5

In: Armstrong, Klintmann, +130k
Out: McCarron, K Galloway

Travers, Klintmann (Creek, Sarr)
Hukporti (Olbrich)
Doyle, PJC (Illi, Armstrong)

8 DGR + Creek and Sarr.

Round 6

In: Cotton, Bannan
Out: Illi, Hukporti

Creek, Klintmann, (Travers, Bannan)
Sarr, (Olbrich)
Cotton, PJC (Doyle, Armstrong)

Ideal would be to get Illi out for Cotton with a Bannan downgrade for Olbrich, but I think that’s a bit of a pipe dream so can see Hukporti making way via Sarr for Bannan instead to free up the cash to get Cotton.

For those without Sobey. Are you going to try and put a plan in place to get him in next week?
For me it’s a no. I feel like the last opportunity to get him without gutting your team was last week. Would rather just load up long term on PJC and Cairns players at this point.

I have the benefit of carrying Doyle though who has a DGR next round with PJC who I plan to bring in this round.
