Oof. If he plays Saturday, that's going to force people into a decision next week with Brisbane on the double, as we will definitely want to bring him in. Might see a lot of people doing an Olbrich/Sarr to Bannan to fund Klintman.

Made a slightly late change to trades:

Out: Doyle, JGalloway, KGalloway
In: PJC, Creek, Ili

Mainly for team structure as I can't move McCarron next week unless I move Travers down and he's needed to start in F position week 5. Moving McDaniel to Forward allows me to free up more cash and pull him back down next week by trading McCarron for a forward (Bannan). Also a bit wary of KGalloway's minutes with the logjam at win at Adelaide now. Not that it really matters with McDaniel likely to go through a similar situation. Really just a structural play for next week.

Creek (C), Travers (Sarr, McDaniel)
Hukporti (Olbrich)
McCarron, Ili (Robinson, PJC)

Week 5 trades will then look like McCarron > Bannan via McDaniel, Olbrich > Klintman via Sarr.

Pretty much committed to riding Hukporti on-field as a back-up centre for next 2 weeks then trade him out round 6. Not much else I can do as I don't want to waste a boost trading him and I think Bannan/Klintman are must gets. Will leave me with 5 DGR this week + 8 DGR next week with 120k ITB for Round 6.

Travers, Klintman (Creek, Bannan)
Hukporti (Sarr)
PJC Robinson (Ili, McDaniel)

Round 6 will likely be a Illi / Robinson move to Cotton / Miller. With it being funded by Cash in Bank and Travers or Hukporti down to a Cairns player. Most likely Hukporti as his role is diminished and more expendable with JLA back

Edit: more I think about it round 6 will be a Miller over Cotton trade based on schedule. Should allow me to straight swap a Hukporti to Waardenburg in the C.

Now I think I am set. Struggled to find the right moves and hard to separate the ins and outs. Have decided to take on Creek and opt for Browne as my SEM representation. Still undecided on Browne VS Travers for captaincy. Need to free up approx $40-50k for Klintman but will have plenty of options and could always trade a RD5 double a round early as RD6 could cause trouble. Browne will likely be kept until RD7 odd. Like Galloway’s contribution to steals, etc and should come in handy in RD6 otherwise I can still milk some cash this week.

Can you hold a McVeigh in the forward and move on a Robinson or Doyle instead at all?

Browne v Cummings?

Browne seems to be the consensus pick but I like Cummings better. He has very active hands and I feel has a higher ceiling at half the ownership.

But again this seems to be different from the general consensus.

Trades look good. I like one of Browne/Cummings this week. Only thing I’d be wary of overloading guards. You have PJC, Doyle and Robinson on a double next week. You can only play 2 of them onfield. Granted Robinson is probably the odd candidate to miss from that.

Can you hold a McVeigh in the forward and move on a Robinson or Doyle instead at all?

Considered but would prefer to hold Robinson over McVeigh so I have at least one avenue into Illawarra on their double since Olbrich is likely to go next round. Current forward options dictate going heavy at guard. Not overly concerned they are sitting on the bench as long as I can field two forwards on a double in RD5 and RD6. Hopefully trading one or two of Doyle/Robinson in RD6 will allow Cotton for his 2,1,2 between RD-RD8.

I'm in the exact same dilemma as @Connoisseur. I'm actually $14.4k short of Creek/PJC and my preferred choice between Cummings/Browne is the latter.

I'm in the exact same dilemma as @Connoisseur. I'm actually $14.4k short of Creek/PJC and my preferred choice between Cummings/Browne is the latter.

Far out, I'm really hanging myself out to dry this week running Henshall, an injured Ayre and 3 doubles on field.

I only have 2 boosts left, I have to suffer this week and make up ground next week.

Typical McCarron, passive 1st half and picks up 2 fouls in 30 seconds to get in foul trouble. I can’t wait to say bye to him next round 😂

Hope he can pick it up 2nd half and pull his usual 20 or so.

Wish I had one of Browne/Cummings but it would’ve completely destroyed my team structure next week. A long term play by penny pinching with Ili.

Solid start from Captain Creek, Cummings and Kell. Hopefully they can all back it up in their second matches of the round.

Happy enough with Creek as Captain. McCarron got to 15 in the end through efficiency. Really can’t wait to get him out next round. Traded out K Galloway despite the double so I’m going to count that as a win.

Ended up going for Robinson, Valentine, Delly to PJC, Wiley, Ili. 66k ITB. Same trades I had planned a couple weeks ago but had to boost Delly to Ili. Was on Ian Clark for the start of the week but after more research it led me to Ili. Hoping he and Wiley score well as PODs, Wiley with a solid start. Cummings as captain scored well and Galloway couldn’t get the minutes again, gone for Klintman next week. Fading Creek going well so far as I would’ve had to grab Flowers over Ili and field PJC.
