I went with G.Browne with the C

Game situation is in a nice spot for Creek and Cummings to earn a rest but need Browne to capitalise. He narrowly won out over Travers for captaincy and hopefully the gap is not too significant. Liked what I have seen from Zikarsky and will be under consideration for their upcoming doubles to help facilitate the Klintman return to replace Olbrich.

Took some balls to pick Williams at that price and coming off a long injury layoff. Could very easily have been eased back into the season.

Yeah, He looks healthy and he is eating boards... Very likely to be the highest avg Center,.

Problem is after this week... he only has 1 more double in the next 6 weeks.

Browne (C) 4 & Cummings 11. How does that happen?

Inability of the opposition to shoot the ball from deep as well as playing smaller lineups creating a mismatch for Williams. Early blowout allows experimentation with lineups and those usually seeing limited minutes to receive increased time and usage. Cummings received a knock and no benefit is received by risking him given the scoreline.

An inherent risk and a factor to be considered especially each time a player from the same team is added. Luckily in NBL SC you do not receive -1 for a missed shot as we do over in NBA RDT, as it could have been much worse and the added bonus was both Browne and Cummings managed a 30+ in their first game of the double.

You just have to laugh when Browne goes 1/9 and has 4 TOs on his double while you have the C on him. 4 SC is just pure comedy to me. Of course I copped that lol.

This would have stung a lot more had Creek or Cummings have a big one. Ah well.

First boost used, Flowers on bench only but will make cash just by turning up and needed the third trades cash for the other two trade ins.

Leaves me:

Creek, Wiley, J Galloway, Toohey

Hukporti, Sarr

Scott, Cunningham, Flowers, Te Rangi.

Scott should score more on his single than Te Rangi or Flowers shouldn't he?

One thing I've learnt these past few rounds. We need to 'watch' these 'next best things' before bringing them in.

Almost better to bring in players getting some points, watch the others, then decide.

Very happy that the rest of the double players from SEM or Adelaide have not gone massive bar Williams.
