I had flirted before tonight with Grundy out but left him in and this has locked that in. Probably the only other impact is I was weighing up Gulden but think between this score and his bye, it’s a wait and see on him.

Petracca over 90. Hasn’t felt like that impactful a game for him. That said, if he’s scoring like this in a game I haven’t noticed him much, then he’s going to be hard to keep out of my team for long.

I've been tinkering a bit, main ones tonight being Z Williams>Howes, Billings out and putting Jackson forward and then getting Grundy in ruck. My main concern with Grundy was whether he was going to be solo ruck. I said to myself beforehand. that Grundy was the only real 'premium' player that I would consider bringing in based on round 0 performance and he looked amazing.

Howes seems like a lock after that as well.

Going to try and make sure any other round 0 based changes are based on rookie scores rather than premiums or mid pricers who started well, will see how that goes though.

Don't know who to drop yet.
I'll stick with Gawn, Jordon and Roberts.
Didn't have Windsor, Laurie or Billings, although was close to picking Billings.

Parker, Mills and Adams out. Could be a bye flip. Could be a keeper. Who would know with Heeney.

Howes locked in after that.
Someone in the match thread mentioned how composed he looked. Agree totally with that. Easy selection with ~90 on the board.

I had Howes on field already, but I'm going very GnR so its not surprising.

Had an opinion confirmed about a player, which I'm happy with.

Big changes for me are Grundy and Heeney in, Errol out. Errol will be fine but he's going to get a lot of attention, its also difficult to keep the scoring he had in 2023 playing a lot of wing. Last season probably a little bit of an outlier as historically as we know its not that good a place to score from no matter how good the player. He will have some bumper scores though against weaker opposition mixed in with a few lows.

End of last season I was 100% certain I would start with Blakey. The Round 5 bye shared with Daicos put me off, but tonight's game has brought him back into my team. His style of play and role mean I think he is on the verge of a breakout.
