Any consideration for berry?
Played well in his practice match and a good scoring history. I actually have him in front of alot of the 200k players.
Fair comment @Bigboy
Sometimes I realise I have a blind-spot whereby I just sort of dismiss a player who deserves serious consideration.
I dont know Berry's style of play really - I'm just logging into Kayo for last week praccy game to see what I missed

Excuse my newbiness, but can anyone point me to tge Round 0 SC scores. Thanks.
Welcome to Season 2024!

The first post of the Teams & In Game Discussion will always carry the round's fixture. This will be followed by the next 3 or 4 posts which will have the teams as named. We endeavour to post them as early as possible, and then update them for Sunday games as teams are finalised. Look out for other dedicated round threads, such as the C/VC thread and round reviews.

For those new to SCS, as well as our in-game banter and discussion, we also place all of the teams, final benches, any late outs/ins etc as well as quarter by quarter and final scaled SC Scores in here. Please feel free to add late team changes or SC scores posts in here. We are not worried if there are 2 or 3 sets of scores posted within a minute of each other, better to overdo it than not at all. Please also remember that everyone posting scores are volunteers and there is no roster as such, so please be patient. Between the dozen or so posters over the last couple of years we have posted about 99% of the qtr by qtr scores, a great team effort!

In regards to posting behaviour, there is a great level of respect and maturity shown here at SuperCoachScores. Generally the Leadership Group (LG) don't have to clean up too much, an excellent testament to the character of many posters here. During the season there is bound to be times where something controversial happens and we get a little hot headed, just try to ensure you don't cross the line to becoming abusive or obnoxious as that won't be tolerated. This forum does have a report button but if you do feel someone has crossed the line or want to ask something in private, feel free to PM one (or CC PM a few) of the LG.

And remember to quote your source of information, especially if it relates to late changes/outs.

Good Luck!
Per opening post of this thread, majority of quarter by quarter and end of match SC scores will be provided in the discussion thread for each round. Search function is very helpful if you include members such as @Peter56 or @FirstTimer and sort by this thread.

If anyone has brought in Heeney, but feels a bit unsure about it, there’s another option at just 10k more: Sam Flanders.

- Averaged 106 in the second half of last year after moving to new role
- Only needed <40% CBAs to generate those scores
- Has DPP flex
- No issue with multiple teammates returning from injury to push him out of his best scoring role
- Coach made the below comments recently (whereas Horse has already said he was considering moving Heeney forward during last night’s game)

“I think this guy is going to take the AFL world a little bit by storm. I looked at him toward the back end of the year once I became interested in the Suns job and I couldn’t believe the talent that this boy has got. His capacity to run, he’s a really good user of the ball, he’s incredibly smart and I think he will reach the potential this club invested in him. He’s only going to get better. For all those people who play SuperCoach out there get this kid in your side, we’re going to feed him as much as we can.”

Injury crisis and qualifying to play for finals first and foremost. :ROFLMAO:

Did he not come out a few seasons ago and state they do not want the sugar hit of playing finals and making up numbers?

Perfect excuse every season to run everyone into the ground for meaningless 13 match win streaks and then shift the blame on the lesser likes and self inflicted lack of depth or experience under the expectation that injuries will never befall the side and thus overly reliant on their fitness for any success in a team sport.

Thoughts on D'Ambrosio? Is his position secure, thinking him at D4, Williams D5.
I’ll defer to someone who knows the hawks better re: position security, but I think we’ve got a good mix of DEF rookies that are cheaper so not sure he’s worth the premium.
Personally I’m keen on a 4/Williams/3 structure but if I was to drop a premium it would likely be all the way down to a Coffield type so that I could bolster another line with a genuine premium.

I get it, but Heeney has a history of scoring at or above his current price for a number of years. Flanders for about 10 games. Combined with the Hardwick factor and that he's named in the bench this week has me feeling that there's a lot more risk in the Flanders pick than the Heeney one. Luckily we get to see this week and reassess
