Close to as bad a start as possible. 2 lowest guys ownership % wise in my team were underwhelming. Hopefully campbell plays a few more to make some cash and Short shows enough to hold past his early bye. Gibcus on field just brings ptsd of rd 1 last year with Stewart, J.Kelly and L.Jones while Williams fell of a cliff again. Would honestly be better off making a new team but hopefully it gets better over the weekend. No carroll either who looks good.

Surprised by the number of people who have the (e) on Gibcus. I assume people aren’t looping in round 1 and I would have thought there were more likely bench options than $150k guy who scored 76 last week.

Was the rookie I was least confident in fielding, key defender who gets most of his points from spoils. Did play Gold Coast last week who gave up a lot of points to defenders in all practice games and round 0. Having the E on him was purely because he was playing early and to have a score banked in case something unforeseen happened. Paying up for him was more for the job security over scoring potential.

Edit, Howes/Coffield/Reid and now More all have more favourable match ups imo.

Key position player with high variation and did not want to lock my D6 position in early since Coffield and Howes were also vying for that onfield spot from my three def rookies. Not confident on the likes of Pink and Reid as starting selections so the Gibcus selection was moreso for job security and since he played in RD0, as he could always be downgraded after one price change if more appealing def rookies presented.
