Has a good role and getting plenty of it. Only key fwd's worth getting are those who play up the ground and get 15+ per game

King is going at 15+ and getting up the ground more often this season. 😉

Is Howes a trade out next week? If so, does that make Draper/Brown important this week?

Thinking if there are no DEF bubble boys next week I can go Sexton or Laz to Brown this week via Daicos, and open up an opportunity to get a MID or FWD next week for Howes.

Hmm this is quite the sound plan actually.
It would mean I boost to get a Brown/Draper this week, hope they beat Howes's 46 and also get in a premo defender in Whitfield or Sheezel.

It does mean I miss out on Steele this week though.

Might just be worth it I think...

Lazzaro could be back next week. Darcy could be out next week for Lobb.

Alternative trades for Darcy are Jordon or Fisher.

Original trades were Billings/Fyfe > Darcy/Steele
By boosting and using the above strategy, it would then be Billings/Fyfe/Z.Reid > Darcy/Sheezel/Draper or Brown

Next week can then trade Howes to a MID/FWD rookie and swing Naicos back up to avoid playing any more defender rookies on field.

3 Options I am now considering

Option 1 - Sexton, Fyfe & Fisher > Darcy, Whitfield & M King - will mean I have to take Howes as I have Coffield & Reif

Option 2 - Coffield, Fyfe & Fisher > Darcy, Steele & Draper - means I can use Sexton as a loophole this round

Option 3 - Sexton, Fyfe & Fisher > Darcy, Martin, and M King - means I take Howes again

Anyone have any thoughts? With best 18 coming up, is it necessary to get rid of Coffield

Love those Billings/Fyfe upgrades. Sheezel and Steele both amazing targets, would just take whichever best suits your structure.

Going to hang on to coffield and sexton for now. Coffield will get moved on for any rookie once dpp is activated for mckercher and roberts. I like the look of draper, however he could really lose his spot soon.

Wines, Reid and fyfe out. Steele, touk and Darcy in.
Might seem crazy ditching reid and fyfe but I can get touk and steele and reasonable prices now for them only. These 2 have averaged over 120 previously so it's a good buy. Good luck everyone

Yeah I don't want to start upgrading to premiums just yet (and probably can't afford it anyway) so reckon I'll hold. A Jordon spike game against WCE will make it tough to trade him out next week. But at $345k it's not like he's going to restart big cash generation.

Think I might go Dempsey over Darcy... and have gone Hore to Brown. Both more expensive rookies, but both seem to have better JS if I have read things right?

Hard to know. There's already talk of Lobb being traded from the Dogs. Darcy seems to be their future along with JUH.

Thanks, leave Sexton? Suppose I can see how he goes in the GCS VFL on Saturday and see if he may be on the cards for a return. If he doesn't play so well, might use the trade before Sunday for a King or Brown on Sunday

Only concern I have is the 3 dead rookies - Sexton, Reid, and Coffield. Feel as though it is wasting money.
