Still tossing around ideas though, I've got plenty of other options on both sides of the trading equation. The more conventional route might be QDK out instead of Pooran - but I think Pooran is maxed out and I would much rather have my Lucknow batter up against Chennai's opening bowlers rather than Pathirana at the end. Have to weigh that against QDK often being subbed out though. Tricky.
Sick of Pant making me look silly every week, so he's in. Delhi have the next double so starting to think about who I would want from there, and then Chennai after that. Dube is my favourite from that side, has a very clear role and is executing it very well. Another one who is often sub though so might be a bit of a gamble. Reddy the best money making option but also has an incredible looping draw for the rest of the season, so whether he actually performs is less relevant. If he flops I can just trade him back out when the ton rolls out.
The one I like but don't have room for right now is Salt. He'll probably launch in price again by the time bringing him in makes sense, but against Rajasthan might be the worst matchup for him - RR look about the only team that can cause genuine powerplay damage (9 PP wickets in their first three games). It's a big part of why they look so good.
The wild option I was looking at was ditching all BWL only altogether - it just doesn't look like the comp for them right now. Someone as good as Chahal or Bumrah can be a safe option on a double but it just feels like all the points are coming from the genuine bats. Having a quick look at the top 20, only three are BWL only players, and only six allrounders, of which Dube does not bowl at all, Russell has been pretty occasional this season, and Hardik hasn't really had a clue when to use himself.
