With Jones (FWD) debuting this week and R Garcia (FWD) possibly on the bubble next week, I think all of the already risky options in Tunstill (FWD), Nyuon (FWD) and Drury (FWD) just aren’t viable options this round.
What's the risk with Tunstill ?

From reading here he got his opportunity with Bailey being out , showing as 4-5 weeks on their latest injury report.

Scored 61 last game which seems reasonable , I guess he could go back to being starting sub (at least they play early in the round).

Hopefully maintains his spot when they announce their team , I think I read McKenna is due back so maybe they move the magnets around

Hard to tell how Jones will perform on debut , hopefully he is in the 22 and not starting sub

The issue is if you already have H Garcia & need to downgrade a player to a rookie to fund an upgrade (Williams who is doubtful to Walsh for example) then 1 of those 3 or Naismith are the only real prospects. The game moves so fast these days with 40 trades/5 boosts that if you sit on your hands at this critical part of the season when most are trying upgrade their team asap to get to full premium, you will fall behind the pack. Personally debating between Tunstill or Naismith, annoying that 1 plays tonight & the other tomorrow night with the sub risk for Tunstill. Certainly looks like he has Bailey's spot for now, if McKenna is back in the team then that adds another spanner in the works.

Yes that’s definitely an issue if you already have H Garcia. Just have to pick the one who is perceived to be the best option and hope it all works out.

It’s also difficult for those who don’t yet have H Garcia but need to boost involving a double downgrade this week to get a premium (Walsh for most).

Really tricky round.

Jones in for Greene?
Is he straight out next week or do they give Thomas a rest next week maybe.
Wouldn’t go early on him I’d reckon.
No McAuliffe this week, if north rookies don’t get up it’s a Garcia this week and Garcia next week.
Exactly

Hopefully they have other inclusions as well when they announce their team.

Take your opportunity , play well enough and force them to drop someone else for Greene.

I guess if you have a fieldable D7 , Hamill could be a downgrade option , but people may not want to pay a little extra.

With multiple DPP's coaches may even be able to shuffle Comben to D with the optimiser feature or just trade him out , move a M to F , D to M , trade in a nuffie , save , trade nuffie to Comben for zero trades used.

Depending then on your F7 or maybe one of your mid bench players can go to F6.

Peatling has been starting sub 4 games in a row with the bye in between, maybe he goes back for game time? Surely that’s not sustainable for players?

O'Halloran hasn't been setting the world on fire, so he is a big chance to be dropped. He is really an inside mid being played out of position on a wing/high half forward.

While Tom Liberatore is set to return this week to boost the Dogs' midfield, Beveridge said the spot of young draftee Ryley Sanders – who was made the sub against the Saints – had "come under pressure" and that the 18-year-old was "learning all the time" about the club's defensive structure.

Bevo on Sanders on the AFL website. If you were prepared to overlook his BE and hold him for the intermediate term based on his JS, then it might be worth a rethink

Exciting youngster Darcy Jones will make his AFL debut in the GIANTS’ ANZAC Day clash with the Lions in Canberra on Thursday night.

I wouldn't be surprised if Thomas gets a rest this week as well. The Giants are very keen on Jones, and I expect they will want to play him a fair bit to see what they have, but he would have to be a sub risk for every game he plays unless he absolutely stars.
