Powell and Dempsey probably have to go, especially the former whose role has been ruined by Clarko. One will go for Sweet via Livingstone, but there are no real standout forward options so will probably swing Reid back down and then bring in a mid (would complete my mids which seems a waste as value is in the post on that line) or swing Roberts/Clohesy into the mids and bring in a defender; which is probably a better option. Also waiting on the extent of Rozee's injury to see if a boost is necessary.

Forward line is a schemozzle with Jackson and Powell, feel it would be wise to keep Jackson because I now have Sweet at R2 but 70's won't cut the mustard. Clarko is in full shuffling mode with his magnets which destroyed Powell not to mention having Sheezel stuck forward for periods as well, not good in a bottom team when the ball is rarely down there. I also don't want to start burning trades by bringing in 'iffy' players that might be just as bad as the ones I want to trade out.

I've budgeted a trade or 2 to move Powell on and was hoping that later rather than sooner was the go, unfortunately it looks like he has to be moved on now, he did his job well enough though. McKay might be one to bring in but I'll have to wear those games where he's throws up a 60 or worse particularly in the wet weather games. Baker could also be an option and his last 3 games have seen a consistent average of 95 with an outlier of 140 before those.

If Garcia is named when Libba is back then he'll possibly come in for Cadman but he does look like a prime candidate for the vest.

*Edit....I'll probably go early on Darcy Jones rather than Garcia, Jones scored well and looks a very likely type, adds a bit to GWS, playing as a small forward as well as getting involved in transition with his speed, should score ok in a top team.

any chance mcauliffe is safer than garcia if named in the team and on field before garcia? Daniel, Libba, Sanders?? to come back in / on field ahead of him.

Having slept on this I think I need to go Powell and Sexton to Sweet and Dale, moving Reid to forwards and Roberts to mids. If I got rid of Dempsey instead of Sexton, my forward bench would be Livingston and Sexton, meaning that R. Garcia would have to be F6, which leaves me too exposed to his vest potential. I'm choosing to keep Dempsey over Powell due to vast differences in breakeven and potential for cash loss. Watch Clarko put Powell back into the mids this week and his scores shoot back up. Then watch Bevo change Dale's role.
If Rozee is only out for a week or two then I can cover him looping Wilson and Graham, any more and he probably has to be boosted out.

Even if Powell moves back into the mids, the fact that he's been moved out probably means it happens again.

Thinking either
Marshall> Sweet
Powell> T Green
Sharp> Merrett
Or the first 2 but McKay in instead of Merrett.
If Berry makes enough then I might be able to do Marshall Sharp and Berry to Sweet Green and McKay but might be just short on that.

Early thoughts are:
Outs: S. Campbell, Comben, Bramble
In: Rogers, Sweet & Miller

Feels wrong leaving Garcia out but Sweet is a must and Rogers looks too good to leave out…

Could go for a triple downgrade but would really like to get Miller in while he’s sub 600K!

I’m not sure how he does it but Z. Williams will most likely survive another week!

Side after RD7 trades:
View attachment 72101

Likely to be a double downgrade of Cadman and a fwd rookie for Sweet and ? to ideally move Reid back to the forward line and Graham to M8.
Dempsey puts his hand up to be traded with one of Simpson/Jones/Hardeman/Rogers to join Sweet. No boosts left and went early on R Garcia rather than Sweet so may only be able to squeeze in two of the aforementioned in the next fortnight.
