So looks like it is happening Gawn still only on 2 FA's, CD are just going to blatantly ignore the FA the umpire paid against Gawn for punching a hitout out of bounds for deliberate.

3/308 with Walsh, Gawn and Oliver…
Glad I didn’t waste the VC on this game….Walsh another strong start but faded again in the last …
Oliver solid game and back to that ball winning bull….seeing some good signs… Gawny off night…thought Pittonet had his measure but to score a ton still shows some character….

Not the greatest of starts points wise, but I was kind of expecting it with McKay playing against probably the toughest defence to put points on (though didn’t look like it in the first quarter). New recruit Oliver good enough. No VC burnt so I’m not upset. If you told me Oliver would be within 20 points of Gawn at the beginning of this game, I’d have taken it.

Gawn now two sub 120 games in the past two weeks gives me a glimmer of hope I will be able to afford him in the near future.

Oliver not bad in the end but not great either. A bit disappointed Windsor couldn't make 80 as he was on track for it but was quiet in the last despite that goal. Still likely to loop his 71 onfield though.

Gawn not punishing me for 2 weeks in a row now is a pretty rare thing. I gather a lot would have had the VC on him tonight too.

Gawn

Oliver definitely has looked better hunting the ball over the last two.
Petracca I still don't like the look of especially having to kick 5 to get to 120. (Edit: Got the post game adjustment to 134.)
He will probably still be one of my targets on his history, price and fixtures.

Was looking real grim during the first quarter with Petracca copping his fourth consecutive tag and having to move forward, extremely pleased with the score considering what it could've been. Not sure what you do if you don't own, fixture is really nice regardless of where he plays so I'd probably jump on at the price although understand if you want another look. Won't get tagged every week and have to move forward, although you would've said that against Richmond and co that did tag him. St Kilda probably the only ones to come that are a chance to pay him any attention. TOG was much better tonight but you'd hope that playing deep forward.

I don't think the play was to jump on Oliver this week, will be a fine pick at the price but wanted another look after a 5 day break and playing against an actual midfield.
