Walsh 119 :)
Gawn VC 111 :(

Walsh good. Would’ve liked a bit more given how well he went in that first quarter but his disposal can let him down a bit. Gawn not great with the VC.

Ryan, Serong, Heeney, Houston, Grundy, Jackson, and Roberts tomorrow night.

Serong 150
Heeney 118 :)
Ryan 111 🗑️
Grundy 102
Jackson 89 :(
Houston 89
Roberts 47

Serong massive early. Faded out of the game in the second half but he rode scaling home. Heeney good as usual. Ryan had very little impact in the first 3 quarters. Weren’t looking for him as much, Sydney shut him down well. Also didn’t get many chances to take a kick in. A generational garbage time last quarter gave him a solid score. Almost doubled his 3QT score in a blowout. Grundy looked good for most of the game but was quiet late, take the ton and move on.

Jackson underwhelming as the number 1 ruck. I understand Grundy isn’t the easiest matchup but he needs to be doing more. Another poor score for Houston. Will be cheap in a few weeks for non-owners to pounce on. Roberts rubbish and regretting my decision to hold. Traded Comben instead. Wanted Roberts’ points on field over what would have been Darcy if I traded, and take a small $ hit. Going to lose ~25k now and lose points on Darcy. Also should’ve looped him with Brown.

Stewart, Jackson, Fyfe, Serong, Ryan & Heeney tonight.

Had severe last minutes reservations about trading out Roberts given the spikes from quality rookies recently however stuck with it and it seems to be the right move now.

Keep Graham and take Draper's E of 52, or edit my trade of Comben out to Graham and play him on field instead.

Ideally I want to keep Graham but not sure if he's likely to come straight back in?

Ryan score an absolute blight on the premise of SC. Did nothing all game, gets junk when no one cares, and scores 110.
Jackson has to be close to the worst Ruck in the league. Yes he is good when the ball hits the ground, but have you ever seen someone miss time their jump as much as he does. It's almost laughable.

Very disappointed in my two freo defenders in Young & Clark. Luckily I managed to loop the higher of Clark/Windsor so gained a handy 10 points. Not a great start when you have to rely on your rookie to cover for a POD premo. Jackson scored about what i expected he'd score. Heeney great as usual. Serong what a star, shame I never considered to captain him 2 weeks in a row.

Need Butters in asap.

Looping Sharp on for Clohesy, ideally would’ve liked to field him against North over someone like Howes but couldn’t with Hore and Reid clogging the defence bench. Pretty sure he had a role change last week moving back and Flanders going into the midfield but not sure that sticks this week.

Fyfe real frustrating game with the 6FA, would’ve been alright otherwise.

Have a good weekend all.

10/869 vc Walsh not taken yet. Have to decide on whether I trade out Yeo or hold, Powell suspended for 5 will go out. Green potential late out, Wehr dropped, same for Graham. Sweet on bench as cash cow. Only likeable score was Mead on 105 after dropping 36k in the last few weeks. thanks @quite ironic 😉 he's been ok, except when Hinkley uses him as sub.

Question

How is metres gained defined?

Eg - a 40metre kick from back pocket to back pocket - directly straight - is it zero metres gained? (As in no closer to goal) or is it 40 metres gained
