Tempted to trade Havertz out for just a couple rounds in DT. I can bring him back after his game against Man City. I want both Sugawara and Onana badly and Mitoma looks a really good shout for the next couple rounds. Havertz can come back into my team for round 6 against Leicester.

Livramento has Wolves and Fulham in the next two so ill keep him and hope i can then downgrade him before the Man City game to get the funds to do a ESR or Tonali up to Havertz again. Im finding it hard to make money so im thinking i need to resort to short term moves to chase the money a bit and then ill hopefully settle on a squad im happy with.

Havertz, Diallo & THB > Onana, Sugawara & Mitoma

EDIT: Could bring Barnes in instead of Mitoma and play the break even game!

Or i do TAA > Sugawara & keep Havertz. Go with TAA, ESR & Diallo > Sugawara, Barnes & Onana

Think i might do that actually. Havertz is a bit more reliable than TAA

Yep, at this stage I'm doing TAA, Diallo & ESR > Sugawara, Onana & Barnes

2,890,000 left in the bank. Loading up on Newcastle assets for Wolves and Fulham and then will trade them out after that.

Trent and ESR have 2 decent home games though next plus a not bad away game after.
Will Tonali start ?
2 Saints defenders ?

Not sure about Tonali. Trent is less likely than Havertz to score big i think. I need to find money from somewhere to get the best cash cows. Saints defenders will not be in my team for too long but they have 3 decent games coming up. Im really targeting rounds 6 & 7 as big boosting rounds. Im looking at Sugawara, Barnes & Welbeck to Saka, cheap defender with a big score in their cycle and hopefully a decent mid at a discount (Bruno or Odegaard come to mind)

Why am i targeting rounds 6 & 7? Well, it seems to be the rounds that coincide with plenty of my players having their schedule change in strength.

Liverpool players start losing a bit of appeal after Wolves in round 6 (From round 7 they have Palace, Chelsea, Arsenal & Brighton)
Newcastle have City in round 6 and then Everton, Brighton, Chelsea & Arsenal
Arsenal have Leicester, Southampton, Bournemouth & Liverpool
Southampton have Bournemouth, Arsenal, Leicester, Man City
Brighton have Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, Wolves

What im trying to say is that i want the best Arsenal assets post round 5 and in order to get them i need to make cash now. Im happy to take on Liverpool assets after round 6 and im happy to get rid of my Newcastle, Brighton & Southampton players.

Right now though, im doing my best to accumulate assets with a view to trade them at round 6 or 7. Sugawara has Man U, Ippy, Bournemouth to come so that is faovurable. Barnes has Wolves and Fulham and Onana has Everton, Wolves & then Ippy. So its not just that they scored well last round, its that they have favourable runs til rounds 6 or 7.

Now i may be looking too far ahead OR overrating/underrating fixtures importance but im prepared to trade a premium this round for cash and TAA is honestly the most 'replaceable' in terms of points scored. He is at the top of his position meaning i will eventually want him back but that can be a future project/problem.

GIven im locked into trading Diallo and TAA, i think the biggest question for me is whether i go ESR or Tonali out. I will mull it over and i actually think i might change it up and trade Tonali if ESR is named to start. If ESR is benched, i will run the guantlet with Tonali

My analysis could end up being way off but i am endeavouring to strategise a bit and look 2-3 rounds ahead. These next two rounds will be about making as much cash as possible without uprooting my whole team though.

While i like Semenyo i think Onana is a better option based on strength of schedule. He has scored well 2/3 weeks too.
Semenyo doesn't score bonus in FPL. Something I consider (and everyone should).
He's had 3 GIs (2 goals), yet scored only 1 bonus.

Onana is a DM. His 2/3 is an anomaly. Won't be scoring too many more IMO.
Heatmap doesn't show him any more attacking than in the past.

Cheers. Ive decided im going to go ESR to Mbeumo (or similarly priced player) given i have 1.8M in the bank now.

EDIT: If i want Diaz, i can keep my midfielders and upgrade Welbeck. Grabbing Digne means i can keep Sugawara on the bench for this coming round.

Im going to try and take a break from looking at my team for a few days after this because im just going back and forth on options. I must say, i think i like these trades best.

Start Davis over Tonali. Tonali isn't nailed and plays last, so you have no recourse if he's benched.

Diallo plays Sugawara, so you can start Suga if Amad goes MIA again.

Trippier might displace Livra, so could be a problem given you won't know until the last game. Risky.
Milenkovic not an option given he's away to Pool this week.

My thoughts this week on the research I've done so far.

TAA xGI is 1.7. Unlucky not to get a goal vs United. If only Mo didn't get a toe to it.
I find time corrects all probability, so TAA could well get 2 assists vs NFO. I'm keeping.

Harvey Barnes saw 20', 32' & 61' minutes. Looks like he's coming into fitness.
IB should see him fully fit in GW4.
With a 16 in his cycle, a BE of -6, and two good games coming up, a nice replacement for Nkunku.

Sugawara was hooked at 45' vs NEW in GW1. Possibly due to lack of fitness and tactical, given NEW went down to 10 men and he was replaced by a purely attacking player, and not another attacking minded defender.
Saw 72' in GW2, then the full 90' in GW3. His goal showed there was nothing wrong with his fitness anymore.
BE of -10, still makes him a good option as a cash cow.
Scoring 8-10 misc pts to counter the minus pts from goals conceded.

Rico Lewis playing well. But Walker coming back into fitness will make him a risk after IB.

Yerson Mosquera has a BE of 7, but then drops the -5 and so will have a projected BE of -1.
I need to dump Hall, and at a bargain basement price of $3.5m, he won't lose any cash, but could make some for me in a couple of weeks.
With misc pts of around 6-8, if WOL don't concede 6 again, he can score well.
A surprise GI or CS, and he'll spike some great cash.
He can slow cook on my bench for all I care, given there's really not any other options at that price.

Digne's record against the upcoming easybeats doesn't look too good.
BE of 0, but expected to have a better BE in the following game.
On paper, looks a good chance of pts and cash.
I won't be going there as I don't need to go there.

Havertz record vs Spurs and City from last season.
Didn't see much time against them at home, but played the full games in his CF position.
Struggled against City, thrived against Spurs.
Spurs haven't improved defensively.
Got 6 pts vs City in the blank.

Hall and Nkunku not starting and a BE of 7 each.
Nkunku lost $380k, Hall made $600k. Can't win them all, especially when we don't have too much info to go on.
They were realistically just punts with potentially good upside.

With more info available, and limited cash generated from those two, my picks pick themselves.

If Barnes isn't starting, I have the option of starting Mosquera, or just punt he'll cameo and score.

Sugawara playing first, so not an option to start, as I prefer attackers.

That said, I think Barnes will start and see 60'. He was really lively in the 3 min Optus highlights I saw of the last game.

First game is SOT v Man U, two of the worst attacking teams in the league. You could do a lot worse than start Sug.
8 misc pts almost in the bag. Probably a better bet than Ndidi or an ESR away to WHU.
Even might be better than Davis, whose assist was just luck. Was just a normal pass, not some outstanding cross.
