I thought you generally use up all your boosts as early as possible. No idea if it's worth doing so with your team or not this week.
I'm going two down but will ease up ... once I'm content with my on field team ...
- first rookie swap though this week ... is that patience ... I'd say no !!

Usually I'd say that early points are hard to chase down ...
- to me this is s a cash generation year and it'll be hard to build a "Prem" team

Currently messing around with a few line ups
Drawn to this Jokic & AD team
Could go huge if they both fire
Comes at the cost of letting go Tatum and Cunningham early
Projected 1153 with AD captain. View attachment 80252
I look at this team and say lock it in baby ...
- nothing in it that can't be fixed in future rounds ... go get em ...

Had to make a few fixes this week. Didn't want to get rid of Doncic, but I can't get where I want without removing him. Also couldn't get Harden or Wells, but am content atm with what I managed to trade. Had to fix two of my bench in Holland and Sheppard - not going anywhere.

It would probably require me holding AD next week with 3 games and a b2b
Another option If i wanted to save a boost i bring in Coulibaly week early and field him(3)
projected pretty much the same
essentially becomes:
AD vs Chet
Suggs vs Cunningham
C Wallace vs Coulibaly

I'd take the early points and then reassess on the fly personally ..

Yeah, saw Barrett didn't play Rd 1, so has gone a little under the radar, and has score 96 points in last 3 games. Just got to hope the Raptors can stay in their games this round with some tougher opponents.

906 Tatum

Tatum C 116x2, Giannis 114, Trae 113, Cunningham 96, D*ck 90, SGA 79, Braun 72, Edey 56, Ivey 54.

Up 19 to 68th without Jokic and saved a boost, happy.

Every player I fielded last week has 4 again, so I'm likely to just fix up some bench issues. All the premiums performed okay with the exception being SGA who was underwhelming, but he'll stay with 4/4. Edey a little disappointing and I'll probably fill C1 with a non-rookie from Round 4, but probably stays for 1 week. Ivey also poor as a trade in.

At this stage:
Castle > Davion Mitchell/Wallace
Ivey > Coulibaly
George > Agbaji

Really want to take a punt on Alvarado who had a minutes increase with McCollum injured, but going for Agbaji instead which maximises flexibility. Would've had to field one of Mitchell/Alvarado/Hawkins over a Braun/D*ck/Coulibaly every week, which may not be terrible with Coulibaly on a 3 this week, but not good in the future. Agbaji theoretically does well without Barnes himself anyway. Means 4 rookies on field this week. Coulibaly included in that 4, but I believe in the breakout and see him scoring well above the other rookies. No boost at this stage again. Backing in Risacher to be a good rookie. Has shown signs, just inconsistent.

So which one is it?
Cash gen or early points haha

My cash gen line up has few too many Raptors for my liking. But each should go up $1mill!!!

Sets up for Rd4
Braun & 1 of D*ck/Agbaji to bench
Hawkins, Coulibaly, Sarr on field
Only forced trades
Out Joker & 1 of Barrett/JJ
In rookie PG

I'm all at sea....not sure where to go from here

Trading Doncic to make stuff happen. Need his coin to fund the major surgery required for my team

If Jalen Johnson can go 130+ and be the second highest scorer for the week after I trade him, I'm expecting Doncic to go close to 200 this week

Doncic > Harden
Scoot > Agbaji
Sheppard > Wells
Hawkins > KAT

Don't know much about Wells but I'll be fielding him this week

Decided on :-

Banchero - > Wells
Henderson - > Harden
Knecht - > Coulibaly

Just need to remember to check/adjust my team the next 3 weeks

How much do you have left in remaining salary?
Do you intend on holding Suggs next round and do you have any planned trades for next round as Tatum, Wagner, Suggs, Barrett all have three games whilst Braun has two.

No complaints from me whatsoever - what could've been with a full run of Barnes, Banchero and Dyson! Paolo had such a scorcher of a game to start last week, I'm bummed to see him sidelined like this.
nba-sportsdeck-rd2score.PNG

Starting rd3 with $1.40m ITB and Barnes/Banchero must trades.

OUT: Barnes, Banchero, Dyson
IN: KAT, Harden, Gradey D

I wasn't sure about the Dyson trade out until I played around with a Holland trade out in his place. Him being at the top of my must correct list, I managed to make the same trade ins, but it left me with $38k ITB... Furthermore, I'm locked out of playing Black on field with this move despite a +15 (1,099) projection with a Giddey, Dyson, Harden, Cade backcourt.

Last year, things never went right for me when I carried less than ~$500k into a following round in this format, so $38k is a joke lol. Aside from cash gen, I think maximising player price and on-field-points ratio and carrying at least $1-$2m into every round will be just as important for sustainability. Might be obvious to some, but it's a lesson I'm taking onboard this year.

Crossing my fingers Harden can play majority of this stretch! Only one b2b in the next 3 weeks and that's this week between Kings and Raptors.

Good luck all!

Someone talk me into or out of a Powell for Daniels trade in (would use a boost) or just wait a week - and still use the boost - when Daniel’s on 3
