So the big winners this week will be the coaches without Powell?

Not the start your looking for with a new recruit. Of the 3 options i considered for this position, looks like i selected the worst.....again.

And the worst part, i am stuck with him again next week. Fingers crossed he can turn it around in the second half.

Edit. My half time talked had some effect. Never doubted him.

You guys talking too soon. :p
Sounds like due diligence was not completed before taking the plunge. Player that is predominantly a shooter that doesn’t contribute in other areas starting the season with career high (if not, close to) field goal and three point percentage. Sky is falling in the first half when his shots do not fall. :ROFLMAO:

Ok here's what the numbers show based on 3-game vs 4-game weeks. Obviously this is from a very small sample size (being Round 4) and I only included some of the most popular players (some of the top players have only played 2 or 4 games). Interesting to see just how efficient KAT is! NBA Numbers.PNG

Obviously there are so many factors that change these numbers and outcomes so please take them with a grain of salt. I'll try and put them into a proper spreadsheet format that I can continue to add to so we have a bit more of a sample size as the season goes.

It's early but looking like it's going to be one of those "The Other Guys" weeks where everyone you considered goes hard. Probably a strong bias because of how many of the 4-4 guys played today though. SGA, Giddey, Sengun, White, Vucevic, DeRozan, Jalen Will, Wemby and Mitchell all strong starts that I genuinely considered this week (or prior in Mitchell/Wemby case). Boston and Castle both solid enough.

Thankfully, not a bad start by the guys I grabbed either but Luka, that SGA score is your target now mate, I know you can beat it soundly ;)

Sarr hurts although as one of the most popular on a 4 game week with DPP I'd assume he's starting for most sides so hopefully can bounce back but also not a high harm guy.

Nice recovery by Powell, Harden meh but he's in for 3 weeks worth of play so not going to lose any hair over it. Carrington really solid game. Ended up starting him over Daniels so big call there, especially seeing that Young is out so Daniels could get some big chances but didn't see that until after. Sabonis solid.

Decent first day all round really in what is likely to be a very rough couple of weeks for me given I didn't plan terribly well in hindsight!

Small sample size does make very hard to take much out of, results predictably seem to be random, minutes pretty similar which is where you'd expect to see more. Would guess that blowouts or fouls probably a bigger factor than the 3/4 game factor in there.

Nice work mate!

How many seasons have you had go down the drain... I've lost count!!

Powell has gone bang in the third quarter, after having mare first half
Hmmm... Who would have thought you could turn a season around so quickly?

Out: Braun and Dićk
In: Powell and Mathurin

Not a fan of trading Braun, grabbing Powell and leaving just shy of $8 million in the bank but should allow Giannis next round whilst grabbing Mathurin a round early with a negative breakeven.
248 with Hart left to complete the first lap and all players scheduled for the maximum. A relief that Carrington was able to play as one of my plans involved grabbing Alvarado. Sengun unfortunate to miss out but opted for the cheaper centre in Vucevic.

Had both Vucevic and Sengun in my sights but passed due to a lack of DPP ...
- wanted to keep the option of Jokic straight back in open ...
- how to do that is complicated but doable ...

Thanks mate! Yeah you can’t get a lot from that but it’s interesting to see that with most players there’s a drop in PPM over 4 games compared to 3, which makes sense. After a while, you’d have a more accurate PPM that you could apply to their projected score on 3 games and compare it to someone on 4.

So am I, but I just enjoy the game for what it's worth... I had Sochan play half a game last round, out of 4, but I wasn't running around complaining my season is over.

I also haven't owned Jokic either.
I enjoy the game particularly the trading part

I'd imagine the single biggest factor on the 4 game weeks is how many games are missed, would expect there's a much higher chance of players missing a game with the 4 game week than the 3 the way players are rested in the modern game. Obviously hurts double if you took a slightly inferior player for that extra game.
