So
Havertz went unexpectedly MIA. Reversing back to
Casemiro cost $1.1m, but saved a trade and brought on
Porro's 26 pts.
Come GW38, I'm sure the extra trade will be far more useful than the $1.1m.
But that's now put
Havertz in doubt for my team. Given he played the full UCL game last night, he might be rested again.
Meanwhile, a rampant
Maddison is now back into the reckoning.
Then of course, there's
KDB. He dumped another $1.9m, and with a BE of 23, and up against Pool at Anfield next week, can dump another $1m more than Casemiro. Might be worth holding out for him, as the cash gap is likely to narrow.
Then there's
Odegaard, a comparable alternative to Havertz. Taken off on 77' last night.
Not really interested in
Mitoma, although BRI have an excellent run. I feel a 3-4-3 will cover him better.
The ceiling of
TAA,
Porro and
Gvardiol is much higher after this week.
If I want a 5th MID,
Joao Gomes might be a worthy punt. WOL banging them in, and given I can't spare a FOR spot, he would make a good
Cunha hedge. Didn't do much early on, but WOL had the toughest start of any club. With the big teams out the way, they're toughened to handle the lower ranked teams now, and have proven they are up to the challenge.
But given fixture times, my preference is to see if
Maddison is starting, and trade him in for
Casemiro.
Given Pool play City last, I have the luxury of changing formation, if required.
As for GK, again, I have the luxury of flipping
Kelleher to
Allison.
With both of them having the best avg of all the GKs, I'm still of the opinion a LIV GK is going to be the best scorer.
