Are sydney having a bit of a laugh this season or something. Let's go through the extraordinary coaching moves with player rotations this year. We've had Oliver come off the bench and now starting. Anybody can see he is one of the best bigs in the league. Why wouldn't you start him?
That leads to leaupeppe. He started the first 8 or so games and played 15-18 minutes. Was a beast at rebounding and defended really well as well as having a couple of big offensive games. How can he go from starting to getting no minutes at all. Doesn't make sense. Are the coaches admitting that they were wrong from the start and leaupeppe should have never been getting minutes. It should be a classic Oliver 30 minutes and leaupeppe bringing high energy for 5 minutes each half. Adams went through a patch of starting on the bench so that one of the worst players in nbl history could start in tyler robertson. How this short out of shape bad defending turnover machine could get any minutes baffles me. That leads to another dud this season in bruce. Went a string of games where he didn't get on at all and now he's starting. Again are the coaches admitting they were wrong or what. Bruce has had some good seasons in the past but this year is pathetic. Can't hit a shot, throws turnovers, misses wide open lay ups and everytime he guards the perimeter his man blows right past him. Him and robertson aren't even domestic standard shows how poor the league has become. Noi went from being 6th man early to not getting any minutes, finally he has a few good shooting games and barely getss on last night. At least there was one good decision last night with toohey. He has having an all time poor season not doing anything well and the less he is on the court the better sydney will be.
