Think he plays the Hinchliffe role from a couple seasons back. Bat 7/8, bowls 4 when conditions suit, 2 at a minimum. Mir likely to come in for a seamer given Stoinis and Webster provide those extra seam options already. McKenzie as a left arm wrist-spinner provides variation too, so I think they’ll be keen to give him a decent run at it.
Was thinking that too. McKenzie a better bowler than Hinchcliffe though, but not as good of a bat. Will play the same role as he did.

Beau has spent the best part of the last 2 BBLs batting 3 hasn't he?
Yep, and most likely he stays at 3 but with a new captain and Stars finishing bottom half of the table past 2 season they need to change something in the order, and they have flagged Duckett to bat 3-4 so I get the feeling Webster is going to have to make way.

So the one player who's shown outstanding form will be the one who's role will change....

I think not....

Rogers has been batting down the order for the Vics so I wouldn't be surprised if he makes way.

But yeah, they need to change something... Just not sure they needed to promote the guy to captain who has underperformed for years!

Extremely interesting

Given you won't get Abbott's score though , are you not better off just swapping him to a $ 39,5 player and then playing a Philippe price type instead of the other $ 39,5 keeper ?

Then get to look at 12 scores instead of a fixed 11

Not that I am going that way but do like the look of that Edwards (E) with Strikers combo
Makes more sense but doesn’t look as aesthetically pleasing with more than $60k paid for a keeper.

Managed to finally find a $0 remaining salary side.

Decided to put a team together last minute and madly scrambling this morning to catch up. Not sure I can be around for all the deadlines etc this year with a bit on, so not going to be joining any leagues/comps, as I'll likely get stuck with multiple dud scores.

Looking at the cheaper keeper options and would prefer a playing option. Which one of Harper and Nielsen is the more likely to keep a spot in the team across all games in their early doubles? Not entirely sure either is worth having on previous years, but it enables just enough cash for me to get me a team I like elsewhere that I'm willing to cop a couple of doubled scores from them. Sounds like there's going to be keeper changes at both clubs early on (and Harper won't be keeping anyway if playing).

Thanks.

IMO - Harper more likely to score, but less likely to hold a spot.

Neilsen may hold through their first double, but likely to lose his position to Pope when he arrives

How likely is Buckingham to play rd2? if Doggett is released for rd2 by the test team will he just take his spot? Dunno whether to start now or wait a week and cop a price rise to make sure he's playing rd2

This is where I seem to have found myself settling barring any late changes.

Opting for the fade short through round one and two which is terrifying and will either make or break my season.

Going with this until team drop.

Overton in the Flex position. Have passed on Short just to much coin, and i want to set up players for the future rounds

Turner is Fit to play by all reports.?? if not there are a few Heat players i like at a price OR i may just bring in another Strikers assets for RD2.

If Doff fires up Zampa is gone.

Sixers assets for RD2 is the plan, (2 )sixers 1 heat ready for RD3. The Renegades players will be traded. Plan is only to hold Khan to RD5.

Still unsure on McKenzie (stars) getting both games RD1. What are the members thoughts on this. I have 94K ITB and really like the Edwards (sixers) price and potential for this season. ?
