Crazy price since he hasn't played any white ball cricket for England or any other T20 Leagues around the world.

Maybe their is another cheap option that will possibly play when all the OS players leave , will put my thinking cap on.

Depends if they go OS replacement or not but Hurricanes and Thunder both will lose at least 2 early to ILT 20 so they might offer up something , long time to wait though

Otherwise check Squad Announcements to see which bowl eligible players haven't been named to use , their will be plenty.

Is there any chance of the other BBL thread being re-opened so we can access all the vital pre season information that was provided in there.

Maybe we just have that one and a specific Game Day thread for each match.

I have pretty much done exactly this - except that I gather Doran is some chance to play, so I went looking for another donut, and found Shaw … who also has a better donut draw.

Is Doran legit a chance to play, thought he was a 100% lock it and throw away the key donut?

To be honest I haven't looked into the Thunder much at all , saw their scorecard for the practice match and with Rutherford arriving earlier than expected I guess it's:-

Warner , Konstas/Gilkes , Bancroft , Billings , Davies , Rutherford as the Top 6

Ferguson , Green , Sams , T Sangha as 4 bowlers

Agar or McAndrew as the final spot.

No idea who/how they replace Ferguson and Rutherford when they leave.

Thunder loop isn't much good after Round 3 from memory either

My current thinking is Short to Philippe to get the Connolly E and Wildermuth to Hosein to get the Richo E... just need to make sure I have a way to get Short back in if I want him in round 2.

Also not sure I want to play Philippe at the Showground in round 2, but that could very well be Saturday's problem!

For those feeling a bit down just saw a post where a coach had both Connolly & Richardson on the bench to loop but then forgot to put the E on either of them 😅

Well done to those that took Connolly (E) , would be locking that in , don't think too many players from a side on a DGR go 100+ let alone many from the Renegades.

I will take my Turner's 47 over Harper's 11* and swing Doran to bat line and bring Seifert in as WK 1.

Might swap Doran to Scott , DPP link with Allen & Overton might be handy (still likely to fade Short Round 2 😱)

Just leave Harper @ WK2 all season

I have both Connolly and Dorff with the E and trying to work out the best path forward.

On option is to pass on Dorff’s 78 and just use Scott as a bat donut to get Connolly. The other option is to take Overton down to Pope (that’s Herbie) and then out Scott on the bowl line.

I would get Overton next round regardless and it’s the same amount of nuffies, so it essentially bowls down to Overton vs 78 points this round.

Any thoughts either direction? 78 feels right on the edge of whether it’s a must lock or not. Overton could beat 78 but might not be by heaps.. could also go unders depending how the game unfolds. So torn!

Seifert might be worth holding Herb to at least Rd 3. Double Rd 4 aswell

Was advised by Cricket Australia to not bowl after the flight the day before.

Unfortunately we found this out too late. Hopefully has a good second game to make up for it.

Question, given i think am going to replace doran with lachie shaw (it would be an absolute disaster for me is Doran was named in the 11 in the last game). I think i read somewhere that replacement players have to be selected in the 12? That would mean Shaw is likely to be 12th man. If there was a concussion sub for example does it have to be the 12th man who comes in? Or can it be a 13th man for example?
