Renegades play after both Strikers games in Round 2 so possible to play a Striker bowler (E) with a Lyon & Zampa setup if the Striker bowler doesn't play their Game 2

Myself i am sweating on Sutherland, just hoping he gets at least 3 overs and some runs.

I like him. his in the mix for one of my last spots tossing up to either gamble on Khan double (plays game 2) or just straight to Allen instead.

Knock on him is his out of form but looking at him he seems to be playing with lots of world class spinners in the one team so can see why he was limited.

But you could argue his about to be in side with lots of spin again (pope, Boyce, shortx2)

Ok here’s the situation. Went into the season with as little preparation as possible as I’ve overthought decisions year after year. Unfortunately it has back fired big time. Accidentally put the straight C on Curran which worked but Hardie and Merlo has undone that good work. Just looking for some advice on how to limit to damage

I’m already thinking of next week moving on Hardie, Sunderland and Cartwright to Inglis, Short and who can fit in my budget.

Wondering with injures and unavailability’s in my squad if 4 renegades is the best idea or should I grab a Striker instead

No stress, this could have been a lot worse!

You have a great C and Richo on field.

Your loops didn’t fire, but that’s what they’re for.

You’ve probably overspent on Hardie for a flex spot that won’t contribute, but he will find someone good next round (maybe Connolly).

Keep playing a straight bat, you will be totally fine.

Have a look at guys like Abbott, Edwards, Wildermuth for some value options. Maybe Philippe.

Make sure you replace Doran.

Trying to decide between Sutherland & JFM for captaincy is eating me up. Im now leaning towards Sutherland after being bullish on JFM. I just think its too risky and dont want to get behind the pelaton early. That said, im not super confident in Sutherland. Zampa and Seifert are also in my team but i dont think either is in contention for captaincy. Not asking for help but man, im doing backflips all over the place.... If only i heard the news that Webster wasnt going to bowl and i would've gone with Curran as VC. I think the news broke too late though so nothing i could do about it realistically.

Welcome aboard!

Most importantly, get the C onto someone who won’t play this round, preferably a bowler so you secure Connolly’s score. Doggett is potentially a good option, or some people are using Salzmann.

All your other picks look okay (maybe check Buckingham).

You probably lose one Renegade, and therefore a double game round player, in making the above change, so maybe see if there are other opportunities to add one back in that appeal to you.

You need to trade out one of Rogers & Zampa to a donut player , based on the last few pages go Doggett or Lyon if you want to set up Lyon /Striker (E) , Zampa for Round 2

That gets you your Bowl E score

Make him captain , that will then double Curran's VC score

Change Buckingham (not in Squad) to Wildermuth (likely takes Neser's spot)

Turn Nielsen into a base 39k wicketkeeper, put them on field with Seifert(E) and captain that cheap wicketkeeper to get Curran VC.

Turn either Rogers or Zampa into a DG player for one of the next two rounds and place Buckingham on field to take Richardson.

I think so and he is in my side atm. I liked him and would have picked him before being called up to the Aussie side so now he just comes in handy with the loop (bonus).
