Second thoughts let's go Peirson

Might allow me to flip Flip if needed next round.

Mind you if they call up any/all of Abbott , Edwards , J Richardson to the Test Squad I might just very well hit delete team and start some AFL SC research

Nothing like being on the road with dodgy Internet and making last minute decisions
And this is where you should be able to bank bench points to future rounds 😀 , please 🙏 replicate it when I play you onfield

8/1051 Curran

Game 1: 2/472; JRicho, Curran (V taken), Connolly (E taken), Stoinis, Webster, McKenzie.
Game 2: 1/298; Chief, Seifert, Edwards, Rogers, Zampa (excluded), Shaw (🍩)
Game 3: 1/99; Overton, Thornton (bench), Allen (bench)
Game 4: 4/182; Stoinis, Webster, McKenzie, Curran (C), Pierson (bench), Renshaw (bench)

4 Gades to go with Zampa having to beat 42 (McKenzie) to improve my score.

Slowed down a bit tonight but still looks solid. I reckon the majority of time I lock in a DGR (V) after their first game they have a stinker in the second.

10/913 Curran
(16SI)

Costly leaving the 97 of Peirson to rot without the (E). It'd be 999 with O'Niell needing to beat 30 to add anything.

Only the potential of O'Neill left to play to add anything

Doubles: Curran(VC), Stoinis, McKenzie, O'Niell?
Singles: Short, Edwards, Kerr, Connolly, Bartlett, Behrendorff, Richardson,

This is a good way to look at it.

As underwhelming as the Stars have been (especially tonight), I ended up with #1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 on that list, none of those lower down, and captained #2. Can’t be unhappy with that. I would imagine a lot of others here would be similar.

Those players also outperformed their breakeven by 66 points, so they’ve done well for their prices. Stoinis is doing a fair bit of heavy lifting on that basis, but if I can keep doing anywhere near that well from the double teams, it will be a good season.

8/887 or 7/853 Rogers C

A bit of a defensive night for me with Curran not really adding to his great night in game 1 for those who locked his VC score in. McKenzie just missed his BE, and probably will get dropped now.

My 4 Renegades to play are Rogers as captain, Seifert, Brown and Zampa. The latter will need to score 35 points to knock McKenzie out of my 11 and every point added to the other 3 totals will be very much welcome. Hoping for a big renegades win.

9/1013 Curran

Curran terrible after a big game 1. Stoinis great bowling tonight but being the most owned player he doesn't really effect the score much. Harper stuck on the bench. McKenzie not great. Webster basically just a very expensive batter.

With Seifert & Rogers left to play. Would need Zampa to beat McKenzie's score to add anything extra.

Curran 100 & 4

Runs 40 points
SR 25 points
Wickets 20 points
DB 10 points
ER 10 points
EC -1

During the first game commentator mentioned his batting has improved dramatically but his bowling has dropped off

See what happens against the Strikers but is he a trade out option in Round 3 (even on a DGR).given what other premiums share that DGR ?

8/1075 Curran 16SI

Peirson 97
Stoinis 96 (133)
McKenzie 31 (42)
Curran C 4x2 (104x2)

Peirson excellent. Played his role perfectly anchoring the innings. Stoinis bowling 4 was not on the bingo card, could be a great role if they continue to run with so many batters and/or Webster gets a call up for the Aussies. McKenzie I thought bowled well again. Economy rate blown out by bowling him when the game was basically over (again). Not a great score over 2 games. Curran very poor as captain, luckily he managed the big score game 1.

Zampa (8+game to come) excluded at the moment with Rogers (39+game to come) and McKenzie (42) potentially dropping out if Zampa performs.

Came in with only the 6 DGR players with, in my opinion, the worst 2 teams in the comp on the double. The 6 SGR players have combined for 554 at 92.3/SI! Couldn’t have asked for any better than that!

Final team. My bench smashed their BEs which bodes well. Went in with 7 on the double this round and after trades will have at least 7 next round. Apart from Short im pretty happy with the team. Hoping captain JFM can add another 50 (100) tomorrow night but i feel like there will be less pressure now that everyone that took Curran got a total of 104 (208).

I was really regretting that wrong VC choice but Curran didnt make me pay. One change i wish i made was Wildermuth > Bazley once Bazley was named as i ended up pivoting to Wood which was really a one round play given his lack of job security. Glad he beat his BE by a fair margin though and ill go to Bazley for next round.

Overall, im feeling pretty positive about my team. Hoping Short smashes it on Friday night as he will be my VC. Dorff & Bazley are definite ins and then the 3rd player is yet to be decided. I dont think ill boost...

Was out tonight and looks like I have a few pages to catch ch up on!

9 / 1,040 with Sutherland (c) and JFM to play - as well as see if Zampa can knock out McKenzie’s 42 instead.

All players now locked, so here is my final team …

I really like what you did with bringing in the Heat players to take Jhye and Cooper's scores. That gives you heaps of depth when they come back. Apart from Nielsen, i think its a brilliant team. Good stuff, doubles partner :)
