5/474 Connolly from 11 SI
The round from hell. Went from expecting to get 8 or 9DGRs and now likely will only manage 5.
Started Tye hoping he'd be able to play his dgr only for him to not named. Moved the C to Connolly and backfired. Jhye having a mare and likely misses the 2nd game so have dropped his score. Donut Shaw is an inclusion so lost Harper's score so a 50 point loss there. Edwards & Dorf the only shining lights today.

5/533 Short (10 SI), Jhye dropping out assuming he doesn’t play the second game
So far looks like the right play going light on doubles this round, I didn’t intentionally plan for that but it’s sort of worked out that way.
Edwards over Morris went to plan, just unsure who to sell out of O’Neill and Rogers but that can be Mondays problem.

Game 1: 1/163; Overton (V), Thornton, Curran, Bazley, Stoinis (E), McKenzie (DNP)
Game 2: 0/96; Dorf, Connolly, JRicho, Morris
Game 3: 1/65; Edwards, Shaw (E)
Preferred ins were Dorf, Doggett & Tye but selections meant I went Dorf, Bazley and Morris. Could not have gone much worse to this point. When Shaw selected from nowhere it meant I couldn’t execute V & E loops without boosting. Might still do that to lock in the 107+Overton.
In theory still 10 to play but Bazley, Morris, JRicho every chance to miss their 2nd.

Behrendorff the only Scorcher bowler to actually snag a wicket. Edwards and Connolly both had exceptional roles. Edwards was okay and Connolly didn’t capitalise. Can see a world where Edwards ends up as the highest scorer this year. Wasn’t able to check teams prior to the Scorchers game so I copped a Tye donut. Probably a good game to miss though with how it played out. More than likely would’ve gone down to Turner via DPP so a little annoying, but nothing season defining.
Trading out Richo has worked out okay so far, just have to hope he misses next game.
Lots of low DGR scores so far this round and most of those that have fared well have low ownerships.
