So when do we decide that the question of whether Short should be selected and captained or your season would be be ended? Now or do we wait until Short has bowled?

Likewise a related question, should we captain Short or Overton this round?

After an underwhelming first round I think the answer was there,..

Net effect could be not seen until round 4 when others may be getting in Short vs already owning and being able to grab the extra DG that round.

Underrated skill being able to take the ball cleanly and then take the stumps, agree it would be nice to see it rewarded by the scoring system.
