Agar 4
Warner had his chances also the way (the LBW was plumb) but it always sucks getting out just before the 50 milestone. If he taps it for a single he’s on 90 and still out there. Instead finishes on 74. Billings a dumb shot. Don’t really know the thinking behind sending in a sick Davies before him but it was unlikely to have changed the outcome significantly anyway. Agar bowled better than his first 2 games I thought, just didn’t get the reward. Some well executed yorkers in the last couple overs and had multiple catching opportunities not taken in his second over. Reversion to the mean after overachieving in his first 2 games.

Warner and Connolly with great scores. Dorff disappointing while Agar and Billings very poor.
Have made things a bit awkward for myself as I had the VC on Connolly but if I am to get a donut on field for his score as Captain then I’ll just have the 11 players which already include Agar and Billings’ poor scores. This is due to three Sixers/Heat players on the bench with the E.
So I am leaning towards passing on the Connolly VC and rolling the dice on a different Captain (Stoinis or Rogers most likely) therefore eliminating the Agar 4 from my total (if all players from here can score above 4).
