Lynn excellent again. Shame he got out on 49 but if I’m being honest I didn’t expect anything in this fixture. Doesn’t like facing express pace early on and the Canes have Meredith and Stanlake. Didn’t field due to an abdominal issue (got hit while batting) but he did push on after getting hit until he got out. Every chance they just didn’t want to field him because he’s a shocking fielder! Pope solid with the bat and a cheeky 2 stumping were gold. Overton had a shocking game but he still managed to get 60. Lucky there isn’t negatives for bad economy. Thornton bowled poorly upfront and jagged a junk wicket late.

Game 3: 5/166; Maxwell, Stoinis, Sutherland (c), Brown, Zampa, McKenzie (DNP)
Game 4: 4/128; Overton, Chaudhary, Thornton, Doggett
Truly awful round especially given 60 of those points will cost me 60 to most of the field. Washout was costly because it forced me to field too many low floor players and they duly delivered on that potential. Sutherland (c) was an attempt to rescue my round and thought him against the brittle Stars was a good chance to outscore Overton in Hobart and I was nearly right given Jamie could have been out 3 times in his first 6 balls and got carted. However those sort of Hail Mary’s never work out for mere mortals like me. The final nail in the coffin was changing my trade of Renshaw > David to Walter > Chaudhary 3 minutes before lock out.

Yeah I’m not at all. Can recall him sitting out fielding innings multiple times before and then getting up for the next game. Has a cooked shoulder and just sits at short fine/short third all innings. It’s not a soft tissue injury so I’m not going to stress on whether he gets up or not for the next game, they don’t play until Saturday anyway.
