Missed out on scoring 1000+ going Johnson and Durant over Jovic and Booker but very happy considering the low score from Davis due to the LA situation. Very tough to settle on trades given RD13 looks difficult to navigate.

May start building around a core of Jokic, Giannis, Davis, Towns and SGA with the SG position to continually rotate along with the remaining PG/SF positions.
Current trades:
Out: Durant, Hart and Matthews
In: Giannis, Lonzo Ball and S Sharpe

Have just shy of $17 million to spend on two players, if selecting Giannis. Portland the only side with a 4,4, and very difficult to settle on exposure as I can make cases for Avdija, Simons, Sharpe and Camara but not confident with any. Dinwiddie and Grimes under consideration but cautious about Irving and/or Luka returning next round which makes the 4,4 run less enticing. Unable to afford any Charlotte or Boston assets (Ball and Tatum) and Charlotte schedule not friendly this round. Garland of interest from Cleveland but means starting Murray (Portland) and not very confident in his ability to top 50 whilst concerned Garland could go sub 50-60 from three matches. No one from Utah of interest bar maybe parking Collier on the bench but means fielding Johnson onfield and would like to entertain benching him this round if possible. No one from Atlanta, Memphis or New Orleans below the T Murphy III or D Daniels price range of interest.

Very tough.

A week I would prefer to forget, due to numerous poor scores, I will simply move on.

After spending some time researching, these trades look like my best option:
OUT - Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges & Elfrid Payton
IN - Zach LaVine, Jared Butler & Anfernee Simons
Bank - $5,698,000

Doncic was reported to be out for at least a month on 27 Dec, so I think it's unlikely he plays next round.

Nice pick up on Butler
- I saw him pop up on the radar and had him penciled in as a possible downgrade option ...
- but once I realised that I couldn't downgrade this round I forgot to research him ..

Is my last boost worth using for Elfrid to Jared Butler?
Probably not unless it's going to significantly increase the on field trade options.

For mine you'll get a lot more value next week when most will be scrambling to get even 4 guys on field even using 3 trades, so you could get a huge one up by having that 4th trade. The only problem is the vast majority of the options next week you're going to want to trade straight back out

Alternative of Avdija and Collier.

I'd be leaning towards this strategy ...
- still tossing around which POR player to bring in myself

Some much needed potential cash gen as a bonus
- Simons seems to rely on 3pt shooting ...
- Sharpe .. turnovers the concern ??
- Avdija .. not cheap but serviceable on historical games this season ..

Not Mills would be my first suggestion ... Collier, Butler ??
Not Murray would be my second suggestion ... Collier, Butler ??
- To do that I would look for someone cheaper than Banchero ...

what's everyone doing about LA games
I'm considering Kat to Davis, but worried about more games getting cancelled
Limiting exposure outside of Davis. Hopefully he can get at least two games in and is capable of pushing say 80-90. Scheduled to face Spurs, Heat, Nets, Clippers, Wizards, Celtics and Warriors over the next two rounds, so ideally outside of Tatum will not consider players outside of those teams. Would like to bench Johnson (Nets) in case issues arise for their game along with the potential for injured players to start returning to affect his minutes.

No Clippers players I will be considering but their schedule involves Heat, Nets, Trail Blazers, Lakers, Bulls, Celtics, Bucks. Bit tougher to limit exposure to opponents here since Portland go 4,4, Nets & Lakers and Tatum may be of interest.

If cancelled between now and tomorrow, will reverse to Durant and will reassess other inclusions as they should not be locked out.

Ironically, not Banchero is my first suggestion

He's down a game for each of the next 3 weeks and while he has been brilliant in both games back so far, he's also having his minutes heavily managed so far, a slightly off night with your minutes at 2/3 of the norm is a recipe for a bad score.

Looked at Butler , said he was on a 2 way contract so could return to the G League when the injured players return

I need a cheap PF to cash out Risacher.

Need to upgrade Dunn in the next couple of rounds with whatever dollars I can raise

I'm going to assume that the will go ahead with them ...
- the alternative will mess up the whole season draw ...
Reason being, I held Jalen Johnson going into 3 game week because he was still making $ and then he missed games and I lost the lead.
Don’t want to do the same with Kat and get burnt twice.
So I currently have Davis in for Kat, but also don’t want to trade into Davis if LA miss more games.
Also have Sharpe and 1 week Miami rental player Jovic or Jaquez.
Option 2 Keeping Kat and a bench downgrade I’d have about $20mill to spend on 2 players Screen Shot 2025-01-13 at 9.04.27 pm.png
