2014 kfc big bash

Thought id get in early before the footy ends and see how many guys here do the BBL fantasy as well
i did it last year for the first time and finshed about 1000th. How did everyone else go?
will there be a league or leagues entered by scs site this year?

Hi mate, if you had a bit of a scroll through the General Discussion thread (where this is posted) you'll find our BBL Fantasy comps, been really good the last coupe of years with us getting at least 2 or 3 leagues going from memory. We've had some really great results as well, I know I was in the running for a fair while two years ago when I got up to 19th overall and ended up about 70th (you'll be able to find in the thread somewhere what cost me) I think, and I went pretty good again last year as well.

We'll definitely have a few BBL Leagues going again this year!!

Got no idea. Did not see any of the recent games but glad to see he is in the side and making his mark in time to get a gig in side for World Cup at end of our summer.

I read Mitchell Johnson is still creating havoc.
First off he hits a six that shatters a glass window where commentators were and scares the **** out of them when they are on air and then when bowling next game hit another South African in arm not wearing an arm guard and broke his arm.

He's been on fire, in the runs (including smashing 85* of 51, three 6's in a row off Steyn) and wickets recently.

I'll call it now, Shane Watson may never play test cricket for Australia again.

So what is the Aussie line-up looking like for World Cup at end of summer ?
I can't help but think we have a great chance. Players like Maxwell and Faulkner in particular tend to make me think our middle to lower order will be damn strong and some handy fielding too.

Some serious hitting power there alone.
Guys like Mitchell Johnson, Starc and Michael Clarke would expect to play big roles too.
I think we have as good as chance as any nation to win this one.
Going to be a tough gig to break into the top eleven by end of January.

Guys like Nathan Lyon, Brad Haddin, Steve Smith and Phil Hughes need to seal up a spot quick smart.

Also, looks like Boof Lehmann's son is gonna suit up for the redbacks this weekend. A bit of controversy with his selection as his numbers in local cricket aren't that impressive.

Yeah Marsh will be alright, right in line to make his test debut. Out of the one off T20 match, and possibly ODI's (not sure on that one) but should be fine to go by the test series. Just a slight hammy.

hmm.. Mitch Marsh in Test side. Has he done enough in first class cricket to deserve this ?

Must admit skeptical he is a Test player. See him as a one day specialist at this stage but hope I am wrong.

One-day domestic competition starts today, not happy that its not on TV though!!
Last year I loved watching it thought it was a big success, anyone know if they are gonna televise some matches?? You'd think they would've shown the opening matches if they were.

I see on score sheet most of them were bowled which is impressive. However, keep in mind it was against South Australia batting line up. No real world beaters playing for that batting side.
