Yep. That Test loss. Not overly surprising.

As for Behrendorff, I been watching him with interest since first time I saw him last season. A lot to like about him.
Coulter-Nile very stylish player. He should be part of our World Cup campaign in March.

certainly can't see any of that top 6 transferring their 1 day from to the Test side

I guess if Watson comes back Doolan loses his spot and if he bowls I doubt they would keep Mitch Marsh at 6.

Shield starts and I think their is 4 rounds before the first Indian test, certainly hope some young batsmen can score 2/3 centuries....................keep hearing Burns/Head/Maddison/Patterson and Silk's names mentioned..........................I doubt any of them are ready.

hopefully Harris is fit for the Gabba and how far away is Pattisnon?

Pattinson has been playing District cricket in Melbourne I'm pretty sure, I know he started his comeback as a batsman only but presume by now he is back bowling. May even be playing a Vic 2nd XI match this week possibly. Hopefully he is back and fully firing soon because I reckon he's going to be a gun!!

Yeah I really like the look of Joe Burns from QLD, goes pretty good. Doolan hasn't done himself any favours in the last test so if he keeps his spot for the second test that would be something in itself!!

On a positive not there was a hat-trick in the first session of Shield Cricket for the year today, Chadd Sayers got Burns, McDermott and Forrest.

And finally the Vics have blooded District Cricket run machine David King!!

Oh god!!!!

Misbah-Ul-Haq

He's got the fastest 50 in Test history, and equals Sir Viv's record for the fastest 100 as well. Pakistan declare, 602 ahead. Australia's ordeal continues...
Aus already 2 down :(

Better bounce back quickly on home soil!

Australia currently 5-210 nearing lunch.

Smith 81 and Haddin 1

Mitch Marsh the only loss of wicket so far today, 47. Think we have found a player in him though!! Quite impressive.

Random T20 international thrown in straight after a Test series in other side of world.
Interest level in this game from long term cricket fan. On scale of one to ten. Barely registering a 2 for mine.
Maybe later in summer after Big Bash it would make some sense in timing but right now, does not grab my attention. On tv in background and barely made me look more than once or twice. I even took more interest in domestic Matador Cup series and that was not that big to me other than seeing fringe players to look out for. World Cup one dayers at end of summer.

This team playing for Australia, except maybe Finch and Watson, is a fringe team pressing there case for a World Cup birth. Yes I know it is a T20 and not a 50 over match like the WC but short form runs will go a long way to getting a crack in the squad.

Austrlia going to struggle to win this, 20-30 runs short, looks a belta of a wicket to bat on. SA bowled and fielded very well.
