whats prospectus? i have his nab cup details if you want them?
Cheers mate all good, i can check those myself. Prospectus is the champion data book they do every year.

Check out http://www.championdata.com/index.php/champion-data/afl-prospectus

All I can tell you I was going to check last night. And totally forgot until I saw this post. Compared to Byron Pickett in AFL fantasy mag
Nice. As long as it wasn't Relton Reynolds :p

"Has played & held his own in senior footy already. One to watch"
Played 10 matches in WAFL last year, winning between 10 & 19 possies (ave 16)
Played predominantly through midfield in Under 18 championships & averaged 9th most meters gained & ranked above average for contested possessions, score involvements & assists per game, ave 17 possies
Cheers Matt! Not a bad thing i suppose having played in the WAFL although they're modest numbers at the same time.

Swans confirm that Isaac Heeney will debut vs Essendon. Locked! #AFLFantasy #SuperCoach
Wonder if Titch plays on the ball. Heeney is an inside mid from memory?

They'll play him predominantly forward, with brief stints in the midfield, probably on the outside. Think of the way they developed Parker.

I think he comes to them more ready made as a player though, so he'll find himself doing some inside work in his career earlier than Parker has.

If he has a good season, I think TMitch might be heading off for a new home next year

Heeney played alot in the forward line during the preseason, don't think he'll play many midfield minutes yet.

Cheers guys. If he's not named sub, lock in him as a starter? It's a tough gig trying to get minutes in the midfield in Sydney.

Yeah definitely lock him in if he's not the starting sub, not sure if I'll be starting him on the field yet. He'll score okay as a HFF anyway.

I think we are going to have to take rookies in the mids even if they are subs this season, especially considering we have 3 mid bench spots.

Unless you are going very deep in the mids (silly imo), you are going to be playing 3-4 mid rookies on the field, so that is at 6-7 mid rookies.

Will we find 3-4 playing non-sub mid rookies? Maybe.

Will we find 6-7 non-sub mid rookies? The forecast says extremely doubtful.

Oh yeah i meant starting on the field :p

I'm running a 5-0-3 midfield atm and feel relatively comfortable with my rookie choices but would prefer to take Smith (if not sub) over Heeney if sub..even though most would argue Heeney's scoring potential is far beyond Smith's.

Yep, 5-3 for me too.

So on-field it is:
- Cripps (Smith will be sub so Cripps is safe )
- ? test Miller, otherwise EY
- ? test Heeney, otherwise EY, else ?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Why would Tich bother signing a new contract with Swans if Heeney was going to take his spot?
Perhaps he thought he would get the mid mins that Heeney might get this season? It certainly looks like Heeney has the wood on him at the moment..

Yeah for sure. My understanding is Titch is too slow to play anywhere else other than inside mid (which has probably been part of his problem getting games) and Heeney, while an inside middy is alot quicker.

Something like that anyway! :p

So are people still gambling on Titch? Upside is huge but not sure what the Swans are planning to do with him exactly.

Yeah 5, Cripps + Sheed/Newton/NVB(sic) + rookie x 4

If Sheed and Newton both named, i'll probably do some reshuffling

Just listening to SEN. KB and co getting stuck into Carlton about the Boekhorst pick. They can't believe Carlton would draft a mature age player and not play him, they believe the Boekhorst pick will be shown to be a very poor pick in years to come. Other clubs had Boekhorst listed as a rookie draft option not pick 19.

Bulldogs will take Tom Mitchell and swap for our antique, limited addition, once-in-a-generation 1954 premier trophy.

Classic Carlton. Bulldogs aren't even that dumb, although, we could play just about anyone because we lost half our team over the preseason.
