Hi Yakka.
Hanley is a Mid only :)
I was also thinking, with no Goldy, you must still have a bit of cash left over.

Pearce Hanley's younger brother Cian, who is recovering from a acl knee injury suffered in minor all-irleand gaelic football semi final, is the forward. Yet to play a game and only 18, but a great talent. Pearce is mid only as RB pointed out.

Cheers bomberSam, just enough def rookies surface each year so hopefully ot happens again. If the T. Mcdonald of this year surfaces early i got a plan to snap him up as d4 if i pull the trigger early on aggressive trading plan without screwing up my structures.
Goldy is just a no for. Ill back in the stats the rucks struggle to match there best year the year after.
I try not to think about him haha as it makes me nervous not starting him
Let's hope! If not, you'll definitely have to change things around a bit. The aggressive trading plan could really pay off too.
Haha, good luck. We all know what Goldy is capable of, and you are probably right, it's just a risk that lots won't take.

Thanks. I did not know that.
This should save me further embarrassment :)

No embarrassment to you or any other. Very, very few would know this.

I played seven years of Gaelic Football, and one of Hurling, so keep abreast of these players through natural association.

He could still be a great rookie pick.

Actually, I just checked Cian Hanley on SC Gold and he is listed ad Defender only at $117.3k (Yakka has him as a Fwd)

Thoughts appreciated. Defence a bit light on.
Can downgrade ward to libba/crouch if i'm convinced there over there injuriesand use it in defence.
To be honest i like the 3-0-5 back there.
Hi BC - I quite like your team, although six gun mids at 550+ is a bit much for my liking, especially given your defence. I think it's highly unlikely that the fifth best def rookie will be better than the fifth best mid rookie, which is part of the trade-off of this structure. Six potential keeper mids would also make more sense to me if one or two of them were a cheap option like Libba - to me, he and Ward are likely to score similarly, but Libba is over 200k cheaper. If you want Goldy, I think there's an easy way to get him!

I also struggle a bit with Rich. I know he can score well at times, was a high draft pick and so on, but eight years into his career, the best he's managed is a 91 average. He's also not durable - he debuted in 2009 and actually hasn't manage to register more total points than he did that year, through a combination of missed games, and never really having kicked on. In fairness, Rich is a def-mid coming into his prime years for def scoring (see
http://www.supercoachscores.com/threads/2766-Rowsus-Tables-And-Analysis-Of-2015-Season/page5), ... But I think that eight years in, if Rich was going to be a gun player, he would have reached that level already. I'd be interested if I'm missing part of the argument though (?) - he's certainly well-priced.

Yer i get where your comming from darkie.
If libba looks 100% I'll downgrade a mid to bring him in for sure but untill i see it i won't touch him. My defence will chop and change up untill first lockout for sure. I think rich can do a D Swallow next year with a good pre season. Pretty happy with the 3-0-5 setup. Just need to nail em off the bat. Another Saad would be pretty handy too haha.

That sounds fair enough re Libba ... for now I am assuming that players like he and Selwood overcome any lingering injury concerns and putting them in my side (just because they would be in my first choice side if they did), but obviously that may need to change as well. If Rich does a D Swallow you will be well ahead of those who don't pick him, so perhaps you should back your judgment ... nothing worse than getting talked out of a good pick that you really liked :)

7 years of Gaelic Football hey, wouldn't have guessed. I'm going to make a mental note of that just in case at a future SCS catchup if a random game of Gaelic Football should break out I'll make sure I'm on your team!

Just the one question i always ask with this style/structured type team- What will be your next move if Leuey goes down with an injury, say rnd 3-5?

You got your value worth with this team on paper.
In a perfect world you'd be off to a flyer but there are 3 players comming off LTI's, 4 if you want to throw leuy in the injury risk category. There's not alot of flexibility in the team if these players break down apart from sideways trading to fix spot fires which i can personally tell you kills your season straight up.
If they stay on the park though its happy days.

Bit of an unwritten rule that one should provide some feedback before posting their own team. I don't really have feedback yet, its just too early to gain a grasp on 2016, that being said i'm going to throw my first crack up here, might look back on it when season is close to starting!

DEF: Bartel, Yeo, Rich, Smith, Whitecross, brown(ess) - adams, broad

MID: Pendles, GAJ, Sloane, Rocky, Wines, Gibbs, Libba, Myers - freeman, gore, morabito

RUC: Goldy, Martin - Naismith

FWD: Dusty, Buddy, Wells - Sumner, Kerridge, Ahern, Komner, Petracca

Got a feeling people might knock the midfield, could easily drop one to balance out the forwards however I don't actually like many of the prem forwards at the moment. Im keeping a eye on Rocky's pre season, heard he got a knock to his shoulder already this pre season or something? he is so kamikaze style that i'm actually slightly concerned there. wines I started in 2015 and unfortunately he got injured. I like port's draw and I also really rate wines.

Yeah I think your midfield is too strong, well bats too long to use a cricket analogy. I'd place a rookie at M8, in all likelihood there should be decent scoring mid only rookie reveal themselves over the preseason.
