Petracca will only play if Jeff Garlett doesn't get up according to Dees twitter.

Roos says Bernie Vince and Jeff Garlett came in ahead of Petracca - he's not far away though

A bit of a mix bag at the selection table for my team.

  • Hewett making a surprise appearance to hopefully kick-start his cash generation and rid that horrible 19 from his pricing cycle.
  • Papley maintaining his spot reinforcing his role as the 'preferred' small forward in the team, slow burner but flame is still flickering nevertheless.
  • Davis being rested (if we're to believe Eade) so should come back refreshed and hopefully turn those 50's into 60's.
  • Milera injured which means he'll become one of the DEF bubble boy, not ideal as he hasn't made enough cash but someone has to be the sacrificial lamb.
Thinking of grabbing another of those DEF bubble boy to add to my Rookie den, along with Petracca, they will suffice for the meantime.

I will look to do another 2 upgrades over the next couple of rounds (Shaw and Pendlebury are my targets) which should get my team to a state where I can initiate the 'HOLDING' pattern in preparation for UPGRADE season leading up to the MBRs.

Hopefully I can execute on the above as so far, my trading have been more on the 'reactive' rather than 'proactive'.

Players movement to date for my team (I would like to think 3 injury & 2 correction trades):

OUT: Robinson, Rockliff, BCrouch, J McGovern & Gresham

IN: Treloar, Selwood, Zorko, BenKen & Papley
OUT: Rockliff, Crouch, Papley, Hewett, Gresham

IN: Parker, Libba, DBJ, Ruggles, Papley

5 trades down, 0 upgrades, only 117k in bank.

Who has everyone got from tonight's game?

Just the two for me.

Rory Laird and Mitch McGovern (EMG loophole).

Laird, and I barrack for Hawthorn. Hoping Laird dominates off the half back and the Hawks flog em. My opponent has Brodie Smith so hopefully he pings his hammie! Watch karma get me now lol.

Laird and Birchall for me.

Don't know what to think of my Birchall pick so far. I liked him in preseason but I don't think he'll reach that 92-93 average I was hoping for.
Got a ton last week in the most unconvincing of fashions. Hopefully he can just score a pass each week and be there abouts for the season...

Make or break night for me! I have my two most POD premiums in Sauce Jacobs and Rory Sloane, plus Rory Laird.

I've just done quick stocktake, I have 20 beers in the fridge, 11 bottles of Red and a quarter of a bottle of Whisky. How much I consume over the night will be inversely proportional to how awesome my players are doing. I also have a few backup bottles of port in case it really all goes to hell!

I think Gibbo will go closer to 50, he'll need to actually play on someone.

Sloan will dominate against the loose checking Hawks midfield. Sam Jacobs will be average. He's had a very average start to the year, had issues with his knee last week. Hawks rucks don't dominate, but I don't think opposition rucks necessarily score well against us. My prediction would be Sloan 110-130 and Sauce 65-80.

Could Josh Kennedy be a late withdrawal for the @sydneyswans clash with @WestCoastEagles? Just left club early with achilles strapped. #afl

AFL advises Shaun Hampson (injury) has withdrawn from Richmond team for Sunday r5 v Melb.
Jacob Townsend into 25.
Final 22 tbc later today.

Good for us Gawn owners with Maric now bearing more of the load (with Vickery I assume).
