Hoping the above attachment of my team is showing. Would love any help/feeback of my team. Is having both JOM & Swallow a bad idea? Thanks in advance.
DEF: The cookie cutter backline. Nothing wrong with that.

MID: Selwood great POD. Having all 3 value picks looks in Beams/JOM/Swallow looks good.

RUC: With the news of Cameron getting named, might I suggest you pick him instead over Preuss?

FWD: Four strong in the fwd line looks good.

Love this team! A very strong and well balanced team overall, wouldn't touch it anymore apart from pending rookie selections when teams are named.

After many drafts, I think I'm ready to get some help here. Looking at this currently (rookies will change) and I've done a lot of tinkering over the last few days. Had Roughie in for WHE but had to take him out to accommodate for others. Anyone see any improvements?
DEF: Cookie cutter backline. Nothong wrong here.

MID: Very strong premium wise going 6 deep. Some concerns with lack of mid rookies with Barrett onfield. Will have to wait and see if he gets named.

RUC: Cookie cutter ruckline. Nothing wrong here.

FWD: Love the forward line. With new of Cameron getting a game, I think you need him as R/F rookies are hard if not impossible to come by. Whether you have him at R3 or on ur fwd bench. In this cas though, I would ditch Miles and take Cameron on ur fwd bench.

Another great team!

I think my team is done until teams are announced.

$48,700 left in the bank.

BYES:
Round 11: 7 keepers + Sandilands and Nankervis.
Round 12: 10 keepers + Beams and Sandilands.
Round 13: 5 keepers + Beams and Nankervis.
Love the team set up. Very deep in the mids, at the cost of going very light in the forwards.
To be honest, I hadn't even considered Turner or WHE as options (too expensive for cash generation), but you've made me think twice now.

As you already have ruck back up in Cameron, have you thought about downgrading Pendles and upgrading Nankervis, for some more keepers in the forward line?
I can't argue that Pendles won't be a Top 8 mid by the end of the year, but there are a lot of upgrades to be made in that forward line.

Quick question - is Deluca-Cardillo the floating donut this year?

I think I have to put this to bed shortly before I implode.

Def - Shaw, Laird, Adams, Rance, Mbank, Hampton (EVW, Guth)
Mid - Danger, Treloar, Selwood, Ward, Fyfe, Beams, JOM, SPP (Barrett, Pickett, Deluca)
Ruck - Sandi, Nank (Cameron)
Fwd - Dahl, Greene, Steele, WHE, Bowes, Eddy (Parfitt, Butler)

DEF: Starting to see more and more going four strong in defence, most likely due to lack of def rookies now. Like it.

MID: Ward can be a frustrating player at times.

RUC: I see the appeal of starting Nank at R2 now until the best ruck shows up then moving him to the fwd line when you find him.

FWD: Fwd line looks good, may just be a little weak with Bowes/Eddy F5/F6 but I see you have an FD in Deluca which certainly helps looping.

Pretty set on this team now. Will take it into the season barring rookie changes.
Upgraded Kelly into Hanners, Deluca is the floating donut, and Strndica is now replaced by Cameron

D: Shaw, Adams, Laird, Marchbank, Hampton, EVW (Otten, Stewart)
M: Danger, Hanners, Treloar, Fyfe, Titchell, Beams, O'Meara, SPP (Barrett, Pickett, Parfitt)
R: Witts, Sandi (Cameron)
F: Dahl, Buddy, Greene, Steele, Taranto, Turner (Eddy, Deluca)
$23,900 left

Liking the below structure, the only change might be downgrading Hanners to a mid-pricer, to upgrade Marchbank into Docherty.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Initial though, I'd have Bowes on field up-top, with Butler and Eddy on the FWD bench.

Looks good overall, like the structure would keep Marchbank & Hanners IMO.

How does this sit with anyone?

Wow basically only fielding 3 rookies in Taranto, Bowes & Parfitt. (Not counting Marchbank & Hampton due to their age )

DEF: Hope Vince gets enough points with the plethora of young dee's mids + Lewis in the team then you're on fire. Lloyd midpricer could pay off. Marchbank at D5 instead of D4 makes this backline quite strong.

MID: Hope M7 & M8 can keep up some good scoring.

RUC: Seems to be what most are doing and now you have extra cover in both Cameron & Nank up forward.

FWD: Like the Lynch pick, will be a great fwd pick this year. However going 5 strong here does limit you to just the one upgrade, maybe 2 if you're thinking Nank will be R3/F7 down the line.

Looks great overall.

Thoughts and feedback please, still have 106k to spend

DEF: Going Thurlow over Marchbank for POD could work.

MID: First team I've seen with Mr Consistent (Priddis) for awhile. Great POD choice considering he's averaged 108-114 since 2010 barring that one year where he scored 100+ average. However there are two new factors needed to take into account. Virtually no ruck & Sam Mitchell could complicate things for him. However if you don't think these will be factors, lock him in.

RUC: Another Sandiwitts combo. Risky but could pay off, although less risk with Nank & Cameron on ur fwd bench.

FWD: Black's scoring doesn't seem to be as good, would swap him out (maybe to Parfitt) should the fwd rookies show up during team announcements.

Grundy, Sandi (Cameron)
Dalhaus, Caddy, Higgins, Roughead, Taranto, Butler (Parfitt, Eddy)

DEF: Doch over Adams. Looks pretty much cookie-cutter. Like it.

MID: Not a fan of Cripps, also with the limited preseason. Much rather a Swans mid or The Bont for similar price. But don't let sway you, if you think Cripps can go 110+, by all means keep him.

RUC: Grundy for POD looks alright.

FWD: Like the Caddy & Higgins picks as both have been on my radar.

Initial though, I'd have Bowes on field up-top, with Butler and Eddy on the FWD bench.
And agree with jaca. Bowes to F6 & Parfitt to ur mid bench.

I really like your team! Despite the 3 mid-pricers, everything is well balanced. The structure is fairly similar to mine, so to that end, you can see why I like it.

I'm assuming you're going to throw Parfitt forward if Pickett spuds up? Make sure to stick the E on Pickett, might as well because you have the donut in Deluca.

Well done on the team and good luck this year!
Thanks bomber, good luck to you too!

Ouch, Danger out somehow just made a little weaker. I think you need him back in especially for captain scores. I think you are better off dropping one of ur fwds to find the cash for Swallow.

BTW when I said the wow thing about the rookies, that was a good "WOW" just in case it didn't sound right. (Didn't want you to get the wrong idea)

Thanks Tamu
Yeah had Ward from the start last year and was a bit up and down. I guess i liked the prospect of him bolting early with Cogs out. Could be a double edged sword which sees him get more attention.
Drew the last cent out of this pretty much which isn't ideal so have tossed Ward for TMitch to free up $20K.

I'd like to say this will be my final team, but will have to wait and see when teams come out! Fairly happy with my team, anyone who wishes to give feedback whether that be positive or negative feel free to do so!

DEF: Rance, Laird, Howe, Lloyd, Hampton, Vickers-Willis (Otten, Stewart)
MID: Dangerfield, Kennedy, Treloar, Bont, Fyfe, Beams, Powell-Pepper, Barrett (Miles, Hibberd, Parfitt)
RUCK: Martin, Sandilands (Strnadica)
FWD: Riewoldt, Dahlhaus, Roughead, Nankervis, Hoskin-Elliot, Eddy (Black, Butler)

Depending on team selections, Martin and Hoskin-Elliot could be altered. If Archie Smith is picked i will downgrade Hoskin-Elliot to Kayne Turner and then pick up Grundy, but am hopeful he isn't as Martin has a very favourable ruck draw early. Was keen on Taranto but he really would only have to have one poor game to be in the twos, compared to WHE who IMO would have more job security. Feel free to let me know what you think :)
