Looks like Shaw and Bont are going to keep me honest with how much I have to spend for them!

Hopefully ~$500k for shaw still not too bad, Bont won't drop under $600k now.

Without wanting to start a long discussion.

I REALLY don't think the Bont warranted a 140 tonight!
Something in the 115-120 area seemed more reasonable.
There is no way that score is warranted. He is luved.

Been a lot of knockers for Taranto, time and time again (prior seasons), we see a rookie have a week off and come back to smash it.

Happy to have reverse trade him back into the side this evening.

Agreed and I don't want to start a long discussion on it either :p

He had some massive moments for sure but the real big point getters were in the 2nd and third and there should have been an adjustment with the last qtr and end result (based on previous years).

CD favourite :D

All his stats in that last qtr were very heavily weighted. His tackles seemed to be worth more.

Totally agree, but seems we say the same thing every week. I'm reluctant to get him in my team over others but might be forced to if CD keep rewarding him.

I did notice his score kept jumping up in the 2nd half of the 4th quarter without him seeming to do anything

Stood up in a high pressure game. It's by necessity more than design that he's still in my team, but I'll take it.

Cheers guys. So clangers probably get punished more than frees if that's the case.
My observations from watching years of live scoring IDIG:

Clanger (unforced error): -3
Free against, in a contested situation: -1
Free against, in an uncontested situation: -3
Give away a 50 meter penalty: -5

15 contested possessions (equal most on ground) and still went at a great 81% efficiency, to go with 7 tackles (equal second most on ground) and 3 goals (equal second most on ground)?

Without necessarily wanting to take my usual spot on the Bont side of the fence, he does seem to be at every stoppage when the game is on the line, and he often has some influence on the play - whether it be a tackle or a knock on or a clearance or a shepherd or whatever. I won't offer to do a Philzsay analysis but I don't think it would be that far off if you did.

Have to get Bont next week. It's getting a bit ridiculous how worse off I am without him
