They are taking the piss with Cotchin's score. 26 disposals, 77% efficiency, even frees for and against and no goals. 140 SC.. 77% DE is a joke too.. I saw so many dinky kicks out of packs into space...
I'm a strong supporter of the SC system, but there is absolutely no way he deserves that. There is no way Ellis deserves 134. There is no way Rance deserves 111.
Cotch was best on ground in the last. Just about won the game. You have to remember guys SC isn't meant to be a Q to Q scoring system. Its meant to be after the last. Cotch was out best player and he deserved the 146.
Cotchin did get a lot of possessions in the last quarter, but most of them were cheap as a spare player in the backline, definitely not worth an 80 point quarter.
Although I would question the 80 point qtr, I thought he was probably the best in the last and in the thick of it for the most part. Don't recall seeing many cheapies real late.

Ballantyne got only 30SC (relative to Cotchin) for his game winning goal but Cotchin got about 80 odd for a great but not exactly an incredible quarter... Joke.
