Geez seeing a lot of people ready to get rid of Darling after one poorish (75 isn't that bad) game.

Played in a side that got thumped by 44 points - won't happen often.

Played without JJK - won't happen often.

Played on one of the best full backs in the league - won't happen often (especially with JJK in the team).

If you started a KPF thinking they weren't going to be up and down (especially in big losses) then you had the wrong expectations!
how bad is his injury ?

This site will collapse on itself creating a black hole when Rocky gets injured.
I'm resigned to it. Partly why I started him. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I traded him in post-Blockbuster scores, only for him to get injured that week. Again.

Cut out the middle man, and started with him...

Logic has no place in Supercoach!
Hoping for a better showing in Perth this week.

Hope there are back up servers.

Heeney is more of a worry if Buddy is not fit then as they will play him predominately as a F target , play the Crows Friday night so can watch.

Bought Heeney on the expectation of more mid time , if he plays predominately forward he is not the lock everyone assumes he is.

Plenty of other F/M options that can score 95 +.

If he is not getting mid time out he goes.

I did notice Walsh's higher DT score , was under pressure a lot early , think Constable got 20 for his goal and Setterfield DE was 50%.

I have 2 rookie spots onfield in my mids so it is Scott + Constable/Setterfield/Walsh.

Really need him to be scoring 75+ to make worthwhile $$$ so will weigh him up again after the Port game and see how Sparrow & Wagner go.
In NSW we get all the SYD and GWS games on free TV, so I have seen a bit of Heeney. Very talented no matter where he plays, and that's the issue, he's the fix-it man, so he gets played where the team needs him, FWD, MID or DEF.
His scores will vary according to his role on the field, but he still looks like being one of the top scoring Fwds this year.

Was it last year I think every game he played with Franklin he scored 100+ (apart from a injury game) , when he was used more F without Franklin he was 80's.

With Franklin not right , maybe we need to wait until Reid and Sinclair are F to see where Heeney plays.

Couple of delayed pre-seasons hasn't helped , maybe he hasn't risen as high as people expect to play full time mid.

I get to see him on free TV on Friday night (only see him 2-3 times).

Probably about 12-15 players available as F that could average 95+ so just need to be sure we have the right ones.

Trading Collins to Parker via Moore allows me to get Setterfield on field over Scrimshaw plus some extra coin in the bank.
Without any perceived issues that will mean I need the extra trade next week, anyone got a convincing reason to jump on this now rather than wait a week?

Heeney had a really good preseason, only an slight ankle injury in JLT2.
Heeney is unlikely to play Mid full time, he's too good as a fix-it man.
Yeah, when all their key forwards are playing, Heeney should get more Mid time, until some injuries down back, then he'll go there to help out.

He is fit, playing well, former uber premium, in a reasonable team. If the opportunity is there and doesn't screw up your team balance, is a no brainer in my case. Brad Crouch to Rocky. Brad Crouch certainly has had his injury woes and is little chance to score what Rocky could. A correction trade I might say.
Be a few of my team to share a black hole during the year.

This week it probably is, if Balta gets another chance. See if they try him down back now, with Rance down. If he succeeds in it, it could be a lucrative role.
That’s what I’m thinking to maybe next week has to be a double trade with balta n burgess gone if there break even doesn’t do in the negative

Heeney reminds me of Bartel in the 2nd half of his career. Could probably have continued at 110+ in the midfield but valuable elsewhere on the field.

Ridley reminds me of Bonner last year.
