My team is travelling pretty well besides Balta, may need the one trade next week. I just can't see Smith being a keeper and JRoo looked so tired which makes sense with him just having a baby. I see these 2 trades as correction trades for 2 poor choices in my starting team.

You may well be right and ideally another week is always great to have another look but i am backing my instincts in here.

Thank you very much for your input, as that is what i absolutely love about this forum! Hope you have a great weekend score yourself mate and if Wines comes in next week and Rocky spuds it or gets injured, Newman hangs around the back pocket picking his nose and chatting with the crowd, i'll be able to have a beer, log on here and cry on your shoulder lmao. :)
Yeah no worries mate, hope it works out for you.

Decisions. I’ve got Greene and he’s gotta go, probably back next week but I can’t see him playing a full season, I had faith but at least he screwed me early lol.

I am unsure what to do. I’m thinking either Collins/ Greene to Wilkie/ Worpel. Or Greene down to Moore and bank $120k in the kitty roughly. Got 15 minutes to decide if I want Moore or not!!!

Collins to duursma this week.

Dusty to rockliff/sheed.

Could then afford Walsh to rockliff/sheed

I have no options that I like but it would basically be my worst mid premo (Dusty?) down to the best available mid rookie (Butters?) and my worst def rookie (Collins) up to Harris Andrews (or Sicily or someone).

It's only something I'd consider if it looks like all of Walsh, Constable and Scott are solid 70+ players and I'm looking at 40s and 50s at D6 (currently relying on three on-field DEF rookies, including Collins).

Another break-glass option might be something like Cripps down to Sheed and Collins up to Andrews. (Already have Rocky). If Sheed looks like just continuing to belt out 130s I may have to give it some thought, but it certainly looks pretty ugly written down.

More likely I just trade Collins to Duursma or Harry Taylor.
Nice shouts. I’m a little worried about Dusty now after last night but still keen to forge ahead with my plan.

Oliver-Rocky
Collins-Newman

And potentially Dusty out next week, Bont is an interesting POD. Also the option of moving down to Scott should he look essential.

I do wonder if 3/4 early trades is too many though...

I'm not quite sure why people are so keen on Newman. Best season of 18/82 doesn't scream keeper - he can go big but also throw in some shockers. Think he might be a bit of a burn man this year...

Genuinely no idea what to do with Ridley and Hore out. Collins named and cleared to play according to Suns site so I don’t have a 0.

Don’t have Duursma and Scott.

I’m just wondering whether better to wait for one more week of data and hold tight.

Many would probably trade in my situation but I’m not sure

Was playing with trades earlier in the week, got locked into the last one I mentioned here (Parker and Mills for Lloyd and Rockliff), as I forgot to reverse it prior to the game last night. Not disappointed, as I think both trades are improvements, but would have liked more flexibility after seeing other players not get named. Just need to dodge a possible on field donut after final teams get named tonight...

I picked him to get rid of Collins and steady up the backline until a fallen premo falls onto my lap.

Admittedly, he was behind Rampe, McVeigh, Lloyd & Mills in Sydney so opportunities weren't in abundance.

This is a tough one. Just comes down to confidence level on Duursma.

I think I'd wait. Dusty>Scott, Hore or Collins>T Kelly/Andrews/Sicily seems an appealing option for you next week. Risk is that another rookie (Duursma, Wilkie?) looks like a must have but you have ways to get them if so.

Tricky spot though.

Almost did this myself. I never ever forget to reverse trades but I must’ve got distracted. Almost had a heart attack when I logged in to see my trades were still there.

If you have "genuinely no idea" I think you should "wait for one more week of data and hold tight"

I'm in the exact same boat. Bringing in Wilkie or Duursma this week to loop with Collins is appealing but again don't want to make the wrong call

One possible explanation is that at Sydney they had a number of other players they would rather have the ball (LLoyd, McVeigh, Mills), while at Carlton there's not much competition other than Simpson and possibly Thomas. According to the prospectus when he was ranked second for effective kicks, metres gained & uncontested possessions and fourth for intercept possessions at Sydney last season when he played. Also, as per Connoisseur's fantastic stats his average when he gets 20+ disposals is 100sc, which will probably happen fairly often down in Carlton's backline.

This boat might be sinking soon because I’m on board as well. I’m tossing up the same two as Seedsman, and probably leaning towards Duursma just because of his DPP. However I’m worried he could easily be missing next week. I think I might just hold and cop whatever score Collins throws my way. If I put the VC on Lloyd tonight I could use Ridley or Hore for the C loop.

Don’t you guys look at your team every hour?
