I don’t have anyone not playing to loophole Grundy! How did I get in this spot?!?
Thoughts on me cashing out Scott or Gibbons to a base rookie to loophole this week and in to the future?
I also haven’t (clearly) done the research regarding who has lots of Sunday games.
Erm, you can use Scott?

He’s names emergency, what if he ends up playing and I cop his score as captain?
Unlikely to come in for a late out you’d think given he’s ‘rested’. Keep an eye on the team sheets tonight to make sure, worst case he comes in just choose another captain who hasn’t played yet (Cripps). If he did come in, it’s not worth a trade to get a 160.

Very low risk of Scott playing though.

Food for thought thanks Darkie , may wait a week but my only concern is if Marshal backs up another ton and Smith dogs it again (low score) the loss of potential cash is a bitter pill to swallow and the points ......decisions decisions i guess but you make some good points
Agreed with that. Smith did have a low score last week although it was against the Cats who are the form side. This one is probably more about Marshall though.

If you have anither good option who plays in/after the North game (eg Cripps) you can always switch to him if Scott is a late in.

Personally I think the type of trade you are looking at is almost never worth it, unless it's a 200+ type score and/or you are improving your side as well. The trade is worth 150+ points in my view, and you might get an expected 40 out of this one (160 - 120 out of another captain option).

I thought he deserved a much higher score, but I’m a bias owner.
I assume CD rated most of his handballs an inconsequential and uncontested, and he wasn't credited with any HTA. I thought a few of his handballs could have been classed as loose ball gets or intercepts, and there had to be a couple of hitouts that were to advantage. It's all academic though, if he's in the side next week I'm pretty sure he won't be rucking alone. Or maybe he will, Beveridge is still stuck in 2016.

Hi all

Would be grateful if the scoring debates could be made in the scoring discussion thread: https://supercoachscores.com/thread...ined-observations-complaints-on-scoring.2945/ (I'll slowly move all the posts on Gawn/Lloyd/Grundy over).

Going through that thread you'll see that these discussions of scoring aren't new and have been going on for years. Feel free to have them but let's try keep this thread for game day observations and late outs, etc.

I am actually impressed by his work rate , willingness and what he does around the ground in link up play.

Think the commentators said he is the 5th leading tackler at the Bulldogs , once he builds up his strength he could be anything , # 1 SC ruckmen from 2023 onwards

That’s a very good point, I have Cripps so can easily use him.
Just had one of those panic moments, and if it wasn’t for this forum I’d prob have just upturned my team for 40 point net gain.

Grundy will just be coming into his prime years then :)

I've done all that I can (I underestimated the task!). Apologies if I've mistakenly moved across posts as well (and also for all the notifications to the posters!).

Definitely understand the frustrations behind player scoring as it's not as clear cut as the DT system (I was also quite frustrated myself as a Treloar owner in 2017). Feel free to continue to have these discussions in the appropriate thread :)

Pretty pathetic effort from English rucking last night, surely you would learn to not get pushed out of position constantly.

He’s actually taller than Grundy.
