Please let it be so.
Hately is sitting on field in my mids - I'm trying to tell the universe that he is ready to go.
Gosh they are a positive bunch ....

- Hately is here so if Toby is out he could replace him ... so if he wasn't "here" then what !!
- Could have spun it that if Toby is out then Hately is ready to go ....

Ah... that seems very optimistic. Pro cyclists can be back racing in that sort of period of time, but it's a non contact sport unless they fall on the same collarbone again plus they can train at home for weeks with no risk of damaging their recovery.
Collarbones are very finicky as well. Easy to re-injure even after sufficient healing time. Whitfield could be a ticking time bomb for the rest of this season.

I reckon I’ll probably have to move Whitfield on given it’s the byes, going to cost too many points otherwise.

Unless the surgery was actually just an optional fast track rebuild using Titanium plates, screws and superglue making him better stronger, faster than he was before...we have the technology.

Do we know how many Emergencies the Giants flew over ?

Given their have been doubts on Greene all week , I doubt Hately is the only Emergency here.

Not sure when their NEAFL side is due to play.

Channel 7 "believe" Sloane passed his fitness test today and depending how he pulls up should be right to play.

Godden (?) saying Gibbs needs to work on his pressure side and spread , confused me , thought the main objective was to get the ball and dispose of it , but they are happier with it than they were the last time he got dropped and then didn't even have a SANFL game to practice it.

Will people be trading Hately in if he's a late in? Even with one game he could make $70k+
