People’s thoughts on starting with Stoinis ? To expensive or must have with his all rounder ability

Yes ... and yes!!
I can’t fit him in and would love to if I could, but it just diminishes the rest of my team at the moment. I think he is going to be a must for the round 5 DGW so I am guessing most of us will be hoping he comes down a bit in price over the next couple of rounds. If he doesn’t, not only does that make brining him in hard, it means that those who started him are off to a flyer!

I had a plan if I started well last night I might have taken a risk and brought him in, but that isn’t to be!

Too expensive for mine and didn’t want to compromise the rest of my side having him in. Feel he will be cheaper come his double game round. Well I’m praying he is, otherwise you can add not starting with him to the never ending list of regrets for the season.

Thanks , i have him in at moment and i dont think my side is to badly unbalanced so will take the chance he smashes it and keeps his price up.
Also he last game of round so can always downgrade to Maxwell and use cash to get a keeper like Carey

Just thinking they may play him instead of Green , maybe.

One failure from Harper and Harris opens is my guess... Harper is the in-form batsman. Scored a ton in the warm-up game IIRC.

Unfortunately I didn't go with Ferguson for this round. I'm just wondering if it's worth using a trade to bring him in the next couple of rounds, given he is very likely to be a decent cash generator. What are your thoughts?

yep have read all the hype articles, going to be a Keith Miller rolled into Garfield Sobers into Freddy Flintoff by the sounds of things

hopefully he gets his back right eventually and can resume bowling

not sure how much he does batting 6, $ 42 k & DPP, worry for me is too many Scorchers & Strikers heading into Round 5 especially if you end up with another bench dud by then could caause big problems

first in line to lose his spot depending when and if Patterson is back

I think if you missed the boat for round 1, I'm not sure its worth it to do just for the cash generation. One game is a pretty small sample size to gauge a players cash generation capabilites, he's just as likely to score poorly in the second game of the DGW and won't make much cash anyway.

Cash generation whilst good is not as important in BBL as it is AFL SC and points on field are more important IMO.

***Edit: The one covert I would put on this in regards to cash generation, is if Ferguson was $62,500 or a $42,000 rookie and he smashed out a couple of 80+ scores before a price rise then the circumsatnces in regards to trading them in for the the cash gneration would probably be different.

Mitch Marsh unlikely to bowl for a few weeks, Scorchers might just decide to play 4 + Agar & Fawad (especially at home)

Interesting devlopments that Boucher has been talking to ABD about returning for the T20 2020 World Cup.

Would need to either play in the T20 series v England or Australia or on the tour of the West Indies to be eligible for selection.

McGurk for me - the only pure bat I'd say (hopefully Green gets a bowl).
