No confidence in the Canes, so just grabbing Boland. Will have 6 Ade players.
Looking at
Cartwright, Ferguson, Bancroft ---> Carey, Head , Boland

Head (C), Neser, Weatherald, Webster, Nabi / / Renshaw, Sutherland
Carey / / Nevill
Khan, Siddle, Jhye, Boland (VC), Ellis / / Pattinson, DC
$27,800 left.
6 + 2 DGR's + Jhye, Webster & Nabi/DC
4 + 2 DGR's sitting in the rack for next round + 3 to be traded in.

Out: MMarsh, JRicharson, Green
In: Wade, Christian, Cutting

Getting a couple more for the last round because with Wade I will still have 7 DGW players for this week and it seems like some of the Gades and Heat players are more appealing?

For me Curran, Jyhe and Harper OUT
Wade, Neser and Dc IN +150k for next round

Stoinus, maxy, head, cartwright and Lynn (Short, Green)
Wade (peirson)
Khan, Morris, Neser, Pattison and DC (ur rahman, Wright)
Should have 7 DGW for next two rounds
Why are you keeping $150k at this late stage? I think you have to maximise points. Cartwright on field, Wade going terribly.

Curran plays the fragile Heat batting lineup this round. Jhye is at home and bowls well there.

Like the Heat away double in R13 just be careful, if you still have the choice to make, that the Strikers have tough tough games this round.

Stars at home and then the Scorchers away.

Brisbane are away in Melbourne for their double. This round they are at home to the Sixers currently ranked second.

With the Renegades and Hurricanes being the worse two teams most of us loading up on Heat and Strikers instead but as said their DGRs are tough.

Tossing up between trading my gun players and still only getting in a Siddle type, or clearing my bench of dross and getting Miller/Ellis types + better SGRs.

I’m loading up for the last round
In:Cutting, Heazlett, Christian
Out:Cartwright, Jordan ,Dwarshuis

I have 6 DGR players this round and will have 10 in the last round
10 is a lot although I can’t fault your ins. Who would be your SGR that round?

Thinking:
Out: Dunk, Richardson, Bancroft
In: Patel, McDermott, Carey

Will have Head, Khan, Carey, Ahmad, Boland, Neser, Siddle, McDermott + Maxwell, Cutting, Lynn this round
Next round I'll have Patel, Sutherland, Cutting, Lynn + 3 DGW + Maxwell, Khan, Carey, Head I think. Setting up nicely for this round. Will trade McDermott, Boland and Ahmad next round all things being equal.

I don't think the Strikers games are that difficult, the Stars have been weakened with Rauf leaving, Worrall is hit and miss, Morris is fringe, something going on with NCN, could have a niggle, Coleman has a niggle so from a fast bowler perspective they look average. Strikers at home on a good batting wicket, they may lose, but should be high scoring. Strikers away to the Scorchers, again the ball comes onto the bat, does a little bit for the quicks, but expecting 160+ scoring. The Heat are inconsistent and seem to share scoring responsibility, so we can't confidently pick who will score in any given round. Gades and Canes only have a couple of reliable scorers, so I don't plan to load up on these teams.

Lads need a question answered.
Should I trade Livingstone out for Sams?
I’m pretty set on it but more than happy for someone to tell me why it’s not a good idea
Thanks in advance
I will be doing it, so no problems here.
Agreed with Deeman, can't see anything wrong with that trade.
It can be a cruel game can't it.
Yeah, this did not age well, lol.

Sometimes things just don't go your way. I still don't think it was a bad trade in threoy, but just didn't go our way.

Just add it to the long line of bad trades I have made and no doubt there will be plenty more to come

So am I right in thinking, based on the trade talk above, that Carey will be playing for his double, but Darcy Short will only be playing the second feature of his double?

Tend to agree about the Strikers, they are getting hot at the right time and with Carey back they get even stronger, was never part of my strategy this season to load up on one team but may well take 5 strikers in this week (Salt, Head, Carey, Khan, Neser) with just 2 Canes (Wade, Qais), part of me however thinks commonsense says one less striker and one more Cane, probably Boland instead of Carey

Short hasn't been named in the squad for his team for tonight.

Strikers team hasn't been announced yet so we'll find out at around 1-2pm today if Carey is named for tmr.

Cheers Tam, I knew Short was out for the first game, had saw above a lot bringing Carey for this round so though he must have already been named as playing both games.

Thanks for the clarification.

Very torn on my final trade:

After two trades the dgw players I have: khan, Neser, Carey, head, Qais, Wade.

Next week: ABD, Cutting, Labuschagne, Mujeeb, DC.

I can afford any striker or cane. Am I crazy to be considering D’Arcy short with just the sgw? See him bowling more under Wade.

Or is there a clear player I’m missing for this week?
