In my public league final my opponent was trying to beat me with just 6 players. I am guessing 90% of the comp are ghost ships now?

was probably expecting a normal 140-150 MCG pitch that assisted the spinners , so definitely misread that as well

need to learn to analyse players a lot better

Like I said I made a call to bring in another top order bat over a bowler based on the weather (which wasn't an issue in hindsight), but I was also taking into account the Thunder playing three high-pressure away games in three different cities inside 8 days as a calculated gamble.

have to laugh , didn't have Cook & Hales in their previous finals , bring them in for a 4 & 8.

Maxy & Sams are safe as houses and score 5 & 17.

And Handscomb gets outscored by Lenton.

Larkin with the highest score , Ross with the 5th

May as well just use auto-select team.

I picked Stoinis based on the "top order bats and all rounders" approach - had zero faith in him though which is why I didn't put the C on him.

Really with Larkin I was just taking a somewhat (un)educated guess in trying to find a POD and it worked out to some degree.

Putting a similar level of thought into the Thunder bowling rather than chasing scores would have had me well ahead but I guess I don't really have the capacity at this stage to consider things on that sort of level.

Looks like the top round score was 866 so well done if you got anywhere near that!

Looks like Larkin was more popular than I thought , so well done to those that picked him up , I had him down at 20th on my list , so have a lot to learn on how to play this game properly.

657 points behind Top 100 , eliminate those mistakes every round and who knows one day I might get their.
