Danger averaged the most points per 100 mins playing as a midfielder out of anybody in the comp last year, according to the prospectus.
Just double-checked and he averaged 124 SC points per 100 mins playing as a midfielder, the most of anybody to play over 500 minutes as a midfielder, so still higher than all the other top mids priced above him.

I remember having this discussion earlier but I’m now onboard with the Danger pick, just want to see his role in preseason.

This type of stat is reassuring though!

Clayton Oliver 2020 prospectus

"Oliver remained elite for disposals, contested possessions, clearances, groundball gets and gathers from hitouts, but he only rated above average in AFL player rating points and Champion Data ranking points, after rating elite at both in 2018. There were two key areas that dropped away. His kick rating dropped from average to below average and he also rated just average for scoreboard involvements after rating elite in 2019. In the past two seasons, Oliver and Max Gawn have combined as a ruck/rover duo the second most during this time".

It also says he averaged 82 points per 100 mins as a forward, ranked 20th of players to spend at least 300 minutes forward. With no Tim Kelly and Jenkins arriving this makes him a lock for me.

Wow, who’s that?!
I cant tell you, it's secret.......not really, but easy enough to work out. In fact, if I change out my M1 Then I can average 10% ownership over those 5 players and have 4 of the top 8 aggregate scorers from last year (in Mids), plus my M5 was inside the top 25 and finished off the year as one of the highest scoring players over the last 9 games with an average of 124.

Does anyone know if there is a timeline summary of Cripps' second half of the year in terms of injury / run-withs?
Interested in seeing if it's possible to tease out a bit if he does have some tag susceptibilty.
Was almost first picked this year, didn't really think about whether there's that aspect to it.

I had him last year and his scores were up and down like a bride's nightie. He's not in my team this year.

Any Blues fans think that their team improving (ie sharing the load) might actually lead to Cripps average flat lining?
Can the guy really do much more than he already has been? Its an easy point of view to argue yourself in to but.....is there a chance that to get to 120+ Cripps needs to add something to his game - maybe goal kicking / more F50 marks? -> can his contested work really improve? He's already a GOAT in this space. Not in my side currently but will be hard to maintain that come rd 1

I think he will continue to score at that level, with scope to improve. As stated he may get more rotations forward with more players spreading the load in the mids. Hoping he also gets better support/protection from other mids this year. Goal kicking will definitely see a slight spike in his average.

He improved his score assists and goal tally last year.

I don't see any red flags .... used the following to see if I could come up with some sort of correlation ... I think his lows are over-emphasized...

Interesting - I had noticed the zigzag pattern in the second half of the year, but it actually started much earlier. He had 4 sub 100 scores pre bye and only 3 post bye.
