Thanks Stephen, Houli turning 32 this year. Played well last year 105 avge. Walters 29 had his best and only +100 avge last year. Gibbs, I know, depends how he plays and whether he plays off the back flank in the Marsh Series and easily downgraded to a rookie, which will allow me to upgrade Jacobs to Goldy possibly.

Houli I'm open to. I took him last year at his lowest price or close to it becuase of his run of games that were coming up at the MCG and his record there, it is amazing TBH. I'm not going to poo poo your Houli selection, I get the age thing but last year he went 12 games at the MCG for a low score of 93 and an average of 116 SC points. That's a good leg up early.
10 0f his first 14 at the MCG, could be a stroke of genius.
Difference is I picked him up last year for low to mid $400k.

Our preseason is about to ramp up towards the end of this week with the commencement of the Marsh Community Series.
Stay strong to your chosen Players and don't let your many weeks of research goes out the window via these 'experimental' games. Pay particular attention to how teams line up for the 2nd game as this is likely to be the 'best' indicator of their probable R1 teams. Be flexible with your overall structure as the available R1 Rookies will dictate this.

Looking forward to seeing what Jack Martin finally can do , maybe he finally delivers on all that potential that had him labelled as a once in a generation talent.
Didn't Gawn run non stop for 30-45 minutes the other day ? not sure if he is doing that if he is not fit.
Docherty is the intriguing one coming back from 2 ACL's , how much has the game changed in that time , Carlton's system etc etc.
If he only goes 85-90 have we all brought ourselves a D6 from the start ?
Gibbs is probably no worse a pick than Hannebery at M6 , who knows what Nicks "real" plans are with him , not sure how much he needs to average to make that magical $ 150 k profit , Round 14 bye as well.

Thought that I would post my team as it is currently looking so I can compare after the Marsh Cup. Still a work in progress.
Naturally rookies are all place holders for now so hoping that I have left enough value in them to be able to switch them around easily as required.
Dawson, McCluggage, Naitanui and Parish are the four mid price players that I am tossing up between. Likely to only take one (or two at most) of them, and switch one or two of the others up to stronger premiums. One will go down to a rookie on the line that looks like it has more rookies presenting. I feel like I only want to take a risk one of D Smith or Docherty, so it’s Devon for now, but that could change.
