There will be a couple of subtle changes to the SCS Leagues this year.
We are doing a little bit of a mini re-set of the Leagues, which might mean you find yourself in a higher League than you thought.
It might also mean that you made the finals in say SCS02 last season, but for some reason now find yourself in SCS04!
If this has happened to you, I apologise. The main cause would be, that we are rewarding people that are regular contributors/posters to the site. If you find yourself inexplicably "demoted" to a lower numbered League, this is likely the cause.

I will also add, that in the great scheme of things we have:
SCSPL, SCSP2 (a new League this year), SCSCL and SCS01.
Beyond those Leagues the numbers in SCS02, SCS03 etc largely have little meaning, other than to separate the Leagues by title.

In the Leagues SCS02, SCS03 etc. there will be 22 members invited to each League.
This is to expedite the filling of the Leagues, so if you are invited to one of those Leagues, you need to move quickly, or you will find yourself in the next League down (or lower!).

It is important you take up your League invite quickly, or you will find that League filled, and you will have to be satisfied with a lower League!

Anyone found League jumping ie. trying to sneak into a higher League than they were allocated, will be removed from that League, and ALL SCS Leagues!

In another change this year, anyone qualifying for CL AND one of SCSPL, SCSP2 and SCS01 will be able to join BOTH Leagues.

Everyone else is limited to one SCS numbered League. You may join as many SCS Magpies, SCS Best of the Best type Leagues as you want, or are invited to.

If you are creating a League, and hoping to fill it with SCS members, it would be appreciated, where possible, you add the SCS prefix to your League name, so we can all monitor your League's process, and cheer you on!

This League is the most sort after League on the site. Not because it ranks in the top 20 Leagues each season, though it is full of really good experienced Coaches, it's because of the incredible spirit in the League. There are quite often previews and reviews written each Round, adding to the great atmosphere in the League. No one that has ever been in this League has ever not accepted an invite back.
Because of it's popularity it is limited to those that have shown great commitment to the site, through many years of ACTIVE membership and/or being incredible contributors to the site.

As mentioned above, this year there will be 2 Premier Leagues. The traditional SCSPL and SCSP2.
There are 37 members that qualify, and 34 spots to fill!!! (Jay fills a spot in all the top 8 Leagues. Owners gotta have some privileges!)
So three people will be unlucky to miss out.
How do we decide who goes where?
There 12 other people in the site's Leadership Group. 6 of them will be in SCSPL, 6 in SCSP2.
All 8 finalists from last years SCSPL league will be invited back (3 of them are in the Leadership Group).
That leaves 9 spots to be filled from the other 28 qualified members.

A brand new League this year. In future years, the only way to get into SCSPL is through this League. It is NOT automatic promotion/relegation, and like SCSPL, it requires that you be a very active/contributing member, to maintain your right to be here.
If you want to qualify for either of these Leagues, then be active, participate, and post.
There were three unlucky members that didn't quite make SCSP2 this season. I won't name them, but rest assured, if you think you might be amongst those 3, then stay the good, active member you have obviously been, and you'll likely be here next season.

SCS01 is a very strong League. Everyone in it this year either played Champions League in 2019 (and therefore killled it in 2018!), or finished top 8,000 in 2019. In fact, all bar 4 finished top 4,000.
To get invited into this League, you needed to have performed well in 2019 and/or 2018, and been an active, posting member!

SCS02 is pretty strong League. Amongst the 22 invitees around half are top 10,000 and the rest top 20,000 in 2019.
As you can see, there are 22 people invited into this League, so the first 18 to get there are in. We have done this to aid the quick filling of the Leagues, as sometimes people take too long to take their spot.
If you are one of the 4 to miss out, try SCS04 (League code 754968). If that is full then we will find another League for you.

SCS03 is reserved for a special purpose each year. It is usually in our top 2 or 3 Leagues on the site.
Basically, the people invited into this League have all had an excellent ranking in the previous seaon, but for are not qualified to be in the higher Leagues. This can be because they are new members and/or haven't been active enough to qualify for the above Leagues.
All the people invited into this League finished top 11,000 in 2019, and the majority finished top 5,000!
As with all the Leagues SCS02 and below, there are 22 people invited to join the League, and the first 18 in get the spots.
If you miss one of the 18 spots, then try SCS05 (League code 666545)

SCS04 is still strong! The people invited here have finished between 15,000th and 30,000th in 2019, and this League will also get the spillover from SCS02. There are actually 22 people listed here, plus 4 leftovers coming from SCS02 trying to get into this League, so you need to move quickly, if you want one of the 18 spots.
